We arrived all well today. But had a lot of rain and thunder and lightning along the way when we drove.
This evening when we arrived we rested a bit. Went out for dinner and got all rained on 🌧️🌧️🌧️
It looks like the next day more rain. We will be exploring this city between the showers. Hehehe 🤭
It’s not too big. And from here we can easily drive to the ferry on Tuesday. So we don’t have half a day to drive. Just 1,5 hours to get there.

From here it is. So less to travel this side. The other side is 3,5 hours.
But we share the trip with driving.

10C degrees here today and 1C in the early morning hours. Plus power cuts now at night for the next 3 days. Not very pleasant.
So much easier when the driving is shared as it takes a load off having to concentrate for 3.5 hours.

Many years ago two of us also shared the driving on an 18 hour non stop trip. So yeah, I have a bit of experience when it comes to shared driving.

When I drove over 5 days down from the Netherlands to southern Spain in my classic mini, I did it alone the entire trip. Slept behind the steering wheel too hahaha that was in 2015. My friends drove with a camper van behind me with my belongings.
We arrived very late last night in Ireland, back home. The journey and ferry crossing went well. Also the customs part 🎉🎉
