This mall is my favorite for one reason and I also hate going there for another!
The reason I love this place is, they have all the brands, foreign brand showrooms, everything available there. But I hate the fact that you have to walk infinity. I mean literally, this place is so big if you have a plan to browse and buy then don't go there. Your feet will hurt.*
I have to buy a new mobile phone, my current one got broken in the back. I can fix that but I don't feel like rather thought to buy something new for the upcoming year. But I couldn't find the model I was searching for and came home empty-handed.
Did you ever have the experience of not buying anything from a mall?
Maybe this was my first time. Yes, I could browse some stuff and buy something maybe, but I was not feeling like walking anymore.
These countless stairs and floors scare me off!
*Jamuna future park is the name of this shopping mall. It's the second-largest in South Asia. They have dedicated floors for different commodities like clothing, shoes, and food. It's well maintained, have many escalators, lift, and stairs. But to reach them you have to walk miles on every floor.
But if you plan your shopping accordingly then you can enjoy the place. There are movie theaters, amusement parks everything is ready for the customers.
As I couldn't buy my desired mobile phone so we decided to have our dinner there. Found a restaurant with a nice play zone for kids.
They got some musical rides which my son enjoyed a lot. Also, the food was good. Moreover, the restaurant was not that crowded so we enjoyed a good time there.
My son is busy playing and we were having our time.
So what should I call a good market Friday? Maybe not. But the day was enjoyable. Moreover, I was stressed for a few days, this little escape helped me a lot to be with the moments.
Have a good day everyone.
Congratulations, your post has been added to Pinmapple! 🎉🥳🍍
Did you know you have your own profile map?
And every post has their own map too!
Want to have your post on the map too?
The second largest shopping mall in South Asia? Wow!
It must be really big. I guess you will just have to get your legs ready for next time because you still have to get that phone.
hahaha...yes, in that time I would only walk on that specific floor.
That does look like a huge mall,
and to answer your question I often go to the mall, ( well used to havent been to the mall for months now) and just stroll around window shopping and leave empty handed
I think we all do that :)
Sometimes I go to the big brands to pick some idea of styling to apply my handmade wardrobe. hahaha...
👍🙂👍
Only I know how many miles I've walked in this place, wayy too much to calculate LOL. I have quite the history with this place, from seeing it get built ground up to what it is now. I live close by to it and my father was also a part of the project while this mall was being built. That meant a lot of trips had to be made once in a while. I still remember the first visit, all I saw was a huge crater, which was kinda scary ngl. And then the multiple hangouts and shopping sprees since it launched, pheww
I thank you for this post, a short trip down memory lane for me, good times 🥃
That sounds great to me.
I usually use the shortest path, never visit the corner shops coz I know I will get lost. hahaha..One time I was lost in the underground and couldn't find the exit. That's was years ago when Jamuna just opened up.
But it sure is a great place.
It's probably the only mall where getting lost is normal. I bet there's not a single soul who has visited this place and has not lost their way 😆
Nice Jamuna future park photography.
Thanks :)
Jeez, the second-largest in South Asia, it must take a very long time to tour the entire place. Imagine being lost there hahaha.
I have lost there so many times, it's like a maze to me. One time I was like crying inside coz every time I was following the exit sign I ended up going to the underground parking but I was looking the other way. hahaha...
They have digital maps installed in many places but finding them is also a hassle.
Man, that must've been exhausting. Hope you won't get lost there anymore. Have a great week!
