Is sweet water fish the same as freshwater fish?
When I visited Asia, the family that hosted a home-cooked dinner prepare a one pot entree. All types vegetables that one can think of that is locally produced by the town were represented in that dish, and the way they cooked it is they steamed all the vegetables with dried fish (I think it was cod which is a saltwater fish) and dried tiny shrimps on top of the vegetables. It was delicious!!!
Thank you for showing us your market, @engrsayful. Have a great weekend 🥰🌺🤙

Ya. It is. Fresh water.
The recipe you are talking about, is very common here. We love it. Thanks for your appreciation about that dry fish recipe from Bangladesh.
In Chittagong city and around area, most dry fishes are from sea fish.
So now, I need to call around the Asian stores from the big city nearby to see if they have dried fish. I must cook that dish this week!!!
Have a wonderful week ahead, @engrsayful, and take care 🥰🌺🤙
