They called two hours before to say that they coming. As usual, I told them that I will cook. But they insisted that I shouldn't have to do that because they were stopping by a restaurant and take out food to go .
I made tempura and barbecue just the same.This is how I made it.
I cut the meat and skewered them. For marinade: soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Then, I grilled the meat, using the indoor grill.
Indoor grills are neat for small (or large) quantities of items to be grilled. It is smokeless!
The Pork Barbecue was very good. It was the first to go. We had left-overs galore!

Pan Fried Noodles (the sauce was separate)

Oh, the grill...
It uses infrared technology, reflected from the sides.
What causes smoke is when drippings hit the heat source.
There is still very minimal smoke, especially when the grill are full of gunk.
But very little.
I bought it in Amazon about three years ago.
It is super convenient!
It's Philips Smokeless Grill or something like that.

The pork was from scratch, which I already have.
It was half the original size of the belly.
I had this to make into roast pork, which would take much longer to do.
So I cut up about 1/2 inch thin.
It was good, hahaha 😋.

Nothing like a mini Chinese buffet being brought to your house by the sorority sisters! And the skewered pork you prepared looks divine. The skewered pork is what I always look for and put on my plate at a Chinese buffet followed by anything containing mushrooms.🍲🍤🥓🍄
