I'm back to my local farmers market! This time I'm going early, at 10 AM, because they close at 2:00 PM, and I don't want to miss anything!
First things first. This Farmers Market is being held every Sunday in a nearby park called Riverview, and this is why: you have an amazing river view here! The view of Manhattan skyline from the Hudson river side, that is New Jersey. My all time favorite view, here is another edit in HDR (love editing!!!).
The park was renovated recently. They put a nice water fountain... it's so gorgeous!
Ok... let me show you what I got today. Bunch of goodness!!!
I started in the veggie area, lots of people already there. Beautiful veggies, wonderful colors. Gotta love it!
Next stop: pickles and sauces. I grabbed another BBQ sauce from my new friend, Uncle Bud. This time it is a white BBQ sauce, he said Alabama style. By the way, you can check him out on Instagram @ unclebud5 - he said he can make arrangements to ship stuff... wink wink @dswigle.
Time for my eggs, can't miss this one, these eggs are delicious. You see? there is a line. People love these eggs. They ask customers to bring back the cartons if we can... cool, will do that next week.
OMG ... pastries... my knees get weak... I want to buy everything, but I must control myself...
Just a slice of cherry pie... can't eat much sweet... couldn't wait to go home and eat it!!!
On my way out I checked out this vegan perfumery. Interesting stuff. I love essential oils and I got the "nectar of the Gods" ... beautiful scent, citrussssy... this is a gift for my daughter, she can spray her garments in the closet. She will love it!

Farmers markets are my favourite! Although these days it's because I'm the farmer. What a yummy shopping spree @starjewel! I would also be weak kneed at those pastries!

I really enjoyed this market! It feels like it got bigger since the last time you showed it off. I just love that you get that beautiful view of the city while you are shopping at the farmers market! Seems ironic, doesn't it?
Farm fresh organic eggs are soooo nice. The farmer that I buy from is a great example too. His eggs are so orange they almost glow and the taste is always incredible to me. The peach pie? Yes, please! I don't want a whole pie, but, one piece? Yes, please. Toss it over here! I cannot believe I am the only one in my house that likes peach pie! So I never make it, but, would happily buy a piece of it.
The fountain adds a refreshing air to the view.
The veggies are so darned good-looking, it makes me want to scoop them all up and take them home with me. Tell Uncle Bud I said hi! I hope Insta is working well for him! Nice that he can make arrangements to ship! I will spread the word. Did your daughter like the spray? Tell me how that worked out for her. I am really interested.

Hi @dswigle - thank you for your lovely words. I will go back next Sunday to get more veggies and to return the egg cartons. Will say hi to uncle Bud from you. 🙂 My daughter laved the scent and I want to buy one for me now. It’s $25, a little expensive for me, but I want to support her business. And I love the scent! I will refresh all those unworn sweaters in my closet, I don’t know why I bought so many. Shopping sickness 🤣😂
