Today I want to make some remarks regarding kids’ gadgets. I was blessed with my first grandson 7 months ago and I am totally amazed of how many gadgets are out there for kids! I remember when I was a mom… nothing like this … lol…
So… let’s start with the stroller. First one… many more to come in the near future. I think this is ok for the first months. I don’t know how much that cost, I didn’t buy it.🤣
Next… a bouncing chair that I though is mandatory. $199 I think it is a rip off, but it works and baby Keion loves it. It is very low on the floor, in this photo you see it on a table, but I never use it like that, I put it on the floor, near the couch and I can bounce it with my foot. It is an anti-gravity chair, they say. Portable too.
This is another small chair that I needed. $50. I can put the baby on the couch with me. He doesn’t last long there though, I guess it’s not very comfortable.
So… we had to look for another chair and we ended buying another expensive one: $299.
He can play and also eat at his little table. The hight of the chair is adjustable and I love that, I don’t have to bend.
The back of the chair is reclining, so he can take a little nap after a meal… It doesn’t bounce though!
So… these are some gadgets that make our life easier. Parents, grandparents and babies too.
But if you add the toys and other entertainment gadgets… plus diapers clothes and food… and so many other things… oh my… having a baby is expensive.
Well… nowadays… in my time it was much easier… not so many options. And babies grew strong and healthy. No ‘bouncing devices’ needed. I was bouncing my daughter on a pillow on my legs… 🤣😂😂
Oh yes
I remember those days
From chairs to looking for the perfect sippy cup
And yes they work hahaha
I do love that high chair - that it can recline- too cool
Congratulations @starjewel!
You raised your level and are now a Minnow!
