I need my coffee in the morning and while you may not call that camping, I slept in a hammock. Close enough, yes? But, why on the water? I could just wait and hope for some rain! :)
Something like this? I have not tried this so far, but this is probably actually one of the best ways for camping. Maybe a little bit scary for those, who cannot swim. For example me. I tried to learn to swim as a young child. We had swimming lessons in the elementary school in a pool with teachers, but somehow I could not learn it, and I have not tried to learn it since then, so currently I cannot swim. Who knows. Maybe I would be able to learn it now as an adult.
Oh, yes! Perfect! :) The rhythmic sound of the ocean puts me to sleep.
One of my daughters sinks like a rock. She can swim when she really thinks hard about what she is doing, but, without effort, she sinks. She goes to swimming lessons every couple of years. So, I believe you. I don't think it is easier as an adult, but, you probably put forth more effort. I would try it.
I never thought about it. All the kids in my family were water rats. They put us in the water and we started swimming.
Give it a try. You have nothing to lose, right? Thanks for stopping by!
