Hi all today I visited fish market and grocery store for my household needs shopping. The place for selling fish is a bit quiet because today at my place the fishermen stopped going to sea. It is the custom and rule for fishermen where I live to stop or rest on Fridays and not go to sea. Usually fishermen on Friday calculate their catch for the past week with financiers or fish tokens.
Yes, the atmosphere a week ago was a bit unfriendly to the fishermen, strong winds and big waves made the fish yield somewhat reduced. I asked one of the fishermen I met at the fish market.
Because there is less or less fish brought home by fishermen, the fish is expensive.
Next I came to the grocery store to shop for other necessities such as chilies, tomatoes, onions, cooking oil and others.
This morning, the busyness of the mothers in my market was somewhat reduced for some reason. I was also surprised maybe because the weather was so hot or something else, I also don't know.
All friends... This is my first post about Friday's activities in the market. Hope you all enjoy my post and like it. Thankyou...

A wonderful post that explains it all. It is terrible, especially at this time when everything is so expensive that you have to pay more for the fish too. Many times, someone in the family goes fishing and we get free fish. :) It helps cut the cost, but, doesn't happen all too often with work.
do differ in many ways, which makes us interesting and unique, but, there are many ways in which are so much alike. Our goods here in the US have skyrocketed in price! Everything is expensive! There too? I want to thank you for being a part of the #MarketFriday Challenge. I have personally found there is always so much to learn about people, where they live, and how things are done in different parts of the world. For me, reaching out across the globe and learning about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, has been such a rewarding experience. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the rituals, festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... and what is normal for us? There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. We

Thank you for the comments and suggestions are very good for me. The market is a gathering place for people, where people interact with each other in order to connect the wheels of life. Life without a market is not yet civilization, because in the market formed the culture, art, way of thinking of a group of people who inhabit the area. @dswigle, I want to explain to the madam that we cannot control the market price where I am in detail because manufactured goods that are ready for the market are imported far from other provinces in Indonesia because we in aceh lack factories for goods that can be consumed. I'm very happy with the advice from @dswigle, to always be active on #Market Friday by following the way of participating and sharing in this hive social media. maybe I will study these steps and explore as much as possible so that this blog can develop like the others. thanks from me in advance from me.
I actually was praising your market, if you look at my words. I always put the suggestions in each comment of mine, in case someone reads your post and is interested in joining #MarketFriday.
I appreciate you giving me the details, but, your post far exceeded my expectations and I appreciate the efforts and the pictures, they are so very good! Thank you. I wish everyone did them as well as you!
Thank you again!
Thank you for appreciating me, I'm still in the learning stage and I still have a lot of mistakes to fix. please pray for me. May the lady always be happy.
I will. You made no mistakes here!! It was perfect!
I like a fish. So expensive here
Yes, sir, have you ever come to my place? the fish where I live is a little expensive compared to other districts in aceh. but there is an advantage because the fish where I live is still fresh and preservative.
