Mosquitoe diseases can be caused by a parasite like malaria or viruses in case of zika fever and others. It is becoming obvious that mosquitoes kill more people per year than any other animal.
Symptoms of HIV
Presence of fever, sore throat and fatigue can occur. Then the disease is usually asymptomatic until it progresses to AIDS. AIDS symptoms include fever or night sweats, weight loss, fatigue, consistent infections, loss of appetite, malaise etc .
Pains can be in the abdomen or while swallowing. Cough is usually dry.
The reasons why mosquitoes can't transmit HIV are :
The HIV virus it collects, gets digested in the mosquito's gut.HIV is not able to reproduce / replicate within the mosquito's gut and therefore is broken down. If we can remember, human beings have T cells that HIV binds and begins replicating, but No T cells exist inside the mosquito's gut and because of that the virus has no way of replicating or even migrating to the salivary glands of mosquito. It is good to know that the actual meal of mosquito and the HIV particles are digested during digestion processes . HIV, therefore , deteriorates in the gut before the mosquito bites again and is not transmitted to the insect's next victim .
Further more, it is very important to know that HIV doesn't survive or stay long out side the human body like the surfaces and it cannot also reproduce out side a human host.
Is good to also know that HIV is not transmitted by mosquitoes, ticks,or other insects, social kissing with some one who has HIV.
But can be transmitted during unprotected sex; by sharing injecting equipment; from mother to the baby during the time of pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding; and through contaminated blood transfusions.
N:B ... Sometimes, using condoms during sex, or taking PrEP consistently will protect you from HIV infection through sex but is not 100% safe.
