When people stop eating meat they think of anemia as a possible consequence. Rarely does anyone mention B12. Also, I was surprised to read this:
supplements that are specific for vitamin B12 and not multivitamins, and they aren't usually enough to cover the deficiency.
Usually, we think that taking a multivitamin covers all needs. Apparently, no :)
Thank you for this informative blog.
People usually report what's famous or what has more rapid and quality of life-affecting consequences and that's why they probably forget to mention vitamin B12 deficiency as a major consequence.
Mutlivitamins are actually good yet when it's on the level of deficiency and not just a little below the healthy average they will probably be inadequate to cover that deficiency.
Thanks for reading through!
