Recently I was reading a book by cardiologist Joel Kahn, and he was saying that when he began his practice, only one state in the US had more than 20% of its population as obese, whereas now only 5 states have 20-25% obesity, and the rest are all higher than that!

Yes exactly 💯. That's the narrative. Obesity has been on a steady rise and from projections, we will even have a higher prevalence of obesity in the years to come than what we have now.
