In my life experience I can say that I strongly agree with your statement that women experience much more episodes of anxiety than men. Perhaps there is a cultural factor in this, man looks for strength from the strength of "thinking he can handle everything", and one of the causes of anxiety is ways of seeing that there is something that can eventually overcome you.

It's just an idea, of course.

And there seems to be a hereditary factor in this, I have seen that in the same families, when a person suffers from anxiety the mother or the father, or both also do it.

Very true. I think its mostly how we were built biologically.
