Este tipo de iluminación consiste en una serie de bombillos leds conectado en conjunto con resistencias a lo largo de una cita, esta viene de acuerdo a la cantidad de metros que necesitemos y para su funcionamiento es necesario conectarla a regulado de voltaje que viene incluido con los leds. Es de muy fácil montaje, como pueden ver en la imagen, la entrada del voltaje del regulador es donde está el enchufe, es decir fase y neutro, y la salida que es donde va conectada la cinta led, esta se distingue por tener un conector diferente y con polaridad ya que el voltaje de salida es DC. Es importante tener en cuenta que, si colocamos la cinta al contrario con la polaridad del conector, esta no encendería por lo que al invertir la polaridad girando el conector si encendería.
