An autism awareness post aka rant! :)

Let's delve into the ongoing conflict I want to address regarding autism. The United States reports approximately 2% of the population being autistic (1 in 100 in 2000 and 1 in 44 in 2021 [1]). In India, the prevalence is estimated to be around 1-1.5%, although there are likely underreported cases and instances of misdiagnosis or lack of diagnosis. Now, let's assume that 98% of individuals are considered "normies" or ordinary people, while 2% fall on the autism spectrum (ASD). This creates a competition between these two groups, and it's worth noting that some of these individuals from that 2% are capable of impacting the trajectory of our species, both in positive and negative ways. I will touch upon these in future.

This brings us to the concept of the Double Empathy Problem, analyzed through the lens of a diffusion chain. Imagine three chains of peoples: one comprised entirely of normies, another consisting solely of individuals with ASD(autism spectrum disorder), and a third chain that is a mix of both. You whisper a sentence to the first person in each chain, and they pass it along to the next person, continuing the chain. The only chain that demonstrates significant errors or distortions by the time it reaches the final person is the mixed group, indicating a breakdown in communication between us(ASD people) and "normal" individuals. This has been scientifically proven.

Why did I suddenly write about this topic? I am high! I was treated for bipolar disorder for so long(18 years), but I realised in this 36th age few days back I am an autistic person with aspergers syndrome(it is not a politically correct term these days). Anyway, I am in the process of understanding myself better. This is a period of chaos, bliss, anarchy, expressions, frustration, and disruption. Aspergers is said to come as comorbidity thing with Bipolar disorder. I want to shield myself from others. None understands what I am saying. I dont want to shout to others. I was extreme few days back, but now I am calming down. Hopefully, it will all be good! :)

In my personal experience, I have encountered communication challenges even when interacting with other autistic individuals. However, I have learned how to navigate these issues and now understand that written communication works best for me. It should be something like continuously updating the rules and guidelines for my Discord server to preserve the order. The manifesto should be constantly evolving, akin to a blockchain with numerous soft forks and rare hard forks. I identify as an anarchist and engage in ENM (ethical non-monogamy) and other non-vanilla life choices. We are different, and this is a statement of individuality. We deserve our space and voice! This is why Greta acts the way she does. She is extremely logical about climate change, and I am about Palestine. You can argue with us with your narratives. No harm.

Perhaps in the future, I may face moments of emotional breakdown, but I am not concerned. I have at least experienced some days filled with happiness and bliss. I extend my gratitude to Israel, although I prefer call her as Palestine. It's important to note that the average life expectancy for autistic individuals ranges from 39 to 58, in contrast to 72 for those who are considered normies. I don't share this as a plea for help. Since childhood, I have maintained that I do not fear death. Pain and death are distinct entities, separate from one another.
