During the Artemis 3 mission, they would reach the surface aboard a version of a starship ship specially designed to take astronauts to the lunar surface and also obviously take them out to lunar orbit.
In September 2028 the first module of the lunar space station would be sent and four astronauts would also land on the moon; in March 2030 it would be sent
Another lunar space station module would be sent and two astronauts and a lunar vehicle would descend to the surface. By the way, that year is also when China wants to take humans to the moon.
In March 2032, another mission would be sent to the lunar surface with something curious, the Lunar Cruiser, which is a kind of camper van to travel around the moon. This serves as an example of what it means to invest in technology. This vehicle would allow astronauts to live inside it for days or even weeks and travel distances. It would be a mobile laboratory, and it is a Toyota.
Imagining this, obviously costs Toyota money, it is also promoted by the Japanese space agency, but if they manage to do this and put it on the moon, imagine the advertising for Toyota products and all vehicles, it would be a tremendous promotional push, not only is it developing technology, not only is it that you develop technology, it is not only that you get innovative inventions that you can then apply in the creation of products for the popular market for the people, but you also have an advertising and prestige boost that this type of event gives you.
And if it works on the moon it can also work on Mars, so in case the strategy is changed because the agreement with NASA and Jaxa is quite strong, in case the strategy is changed, we could see this vehicle on Mars.
After this, which would be in 2032, in 2033 a mission would be sent with the first lunar habitat, which would be the first piece of the base from which the lunar base would be built starting in 2033, the missions and the shipment of goods and astronauts would speed up significantly.
And what about Mars, the dates are no longer clear, the first trip with humans to Mars according to NASA and roughly speaking, because the date is not clear, it would be in the year 2035, but all these dates that I just gave you must be taken with caution because they have already been moved due to delays or because there have been technical problems and the calendar that I just mentioned seems to be going to change radically.
Elon Musk seems to have convinced Donald Trump from what we heard a moment ago and from other statements that Trump has made that it is better to forget about the moon and go directly to Mars, Elon publicly defends that going to the moon would only be a distraction since NASA's moon to Mars program aims to send humans to the red planet at some point in the next decade, therefore, it is better to accelerate it.
Elon advocates building a self-sustaining colony on Mars, and before Trump also opted for this, to accelerate and focus on going to Mars, the argument they gave was that the Americans had already reached the moon in the late 1960s, so since they had already arrived they did not have to demonstrate that we can go at any time and also if you manage to reach Mars, obviously going to the moon would be much easier.

Regardless of who ends up taking it, seeing that Toyota rover on the moon will be fantastic. It would be nice to see it on Mars too, along with the Cybertruck.
