Saludos gente bella y apreciados lectores de la #colmena, apartando un poco el tema deportivo, doy a conocer otras de mis facetas, ya que me llama mucho la atención todo lo relacionado a la tecnología, acá les hago la entrega de este nuevo post titulado MI PRIMER APUNTAMIENTO SATELITAL, donde conocerán la travesía que pase cuando hice mi primera caza de satélites en señal FTA.
Greetings beautiful people and appreciated readers of the #hive, putting aside the sports issue a little, I let you know other of my facets, since everything related to technology calls my attention, here I give you the delivery of this new post titled MY FIRST SATELLITE APPOINTMENT, where you will know the journey that happened when I did my first FTA satellite hunt.
Cuando comenzó una de las tantas crisis que está afrontando nuestro país Venezuela, con esto me refiero a la crisis de la televisión satelital, la caída de señal del antiguo DIRECTV conocido actualmente como SIMPLE TV, me vi en la imperiosa necesidad de buscar una solución a esa problemática, y esta fue la búsqueda de la televisión satelital gratuita.
Para entender un poco esto, explicare brevemente lo que significa la televisión FTA (Free to Air) es conocida por muchísimas personas a nivel mundial, desconocida para muchos como en mi caso para ese tiempo. Alrededor del mundo está distribuida una flota bastante grande de Satélites los cuales emiten distintas ondas de radio conocidas como Banda Ku, Banda Ka, Banda C, en las cuales se necesita un dispositivo receptor diferente para cada una de ellas.
Estos tres tipos de Banda que son los más comunes en emisión por la mayoría de estos satélites que se encuentran situados a lo ancho del cinturón de Clarke, son ondas que ellos mismos reciben desde partes específicas de la tierra y que reflejan hacia otras partes del mundo para su debida transmisión en diferentes aparatos, televisores, radios, equipos de internet entre otros.
Con todo esto, comencé a indagar y a planificar de qué forma podía obtener esa señal, basándome en lo que tenía a mano, como me gusta todo lo relacionado a la informática ya que poseo un conocimiento amplio sobre ese medio, y me gusta también la electrónica, siempre tengo en mi casa aparatos que algunos clientes me facilitan o regalan por no usar, y entre esos estaba un decodificador llamado FTA para obtener señal de estos satélites.
Tenía bastante tiempo que una persona me había regalado ese aparato y de verdad que nunca le había parado o lo había tomado en serio por no saber nada sobre el tema. Desde allí comenzó la travesía en la busque de señales de televisión satelital abiertas y así poder disfrutar en compañía de mi familia un rato agradable y distinto para salir de la rutina de no ver nada en la tv o de ver siempre las mismas series y películas en la PC.
Me decidí poner en marcha, comencé a buscar información referente a como captar la señal de los satélites y como seria la posición de la antena, encontré información que me llevo un poco de tiempo comprender porque era algo confusa, la programación, los transpondedores, el azimut la elevación eran cosas que no entendía, y no tener a alguien de confianza que me aclarara las dudas en este tema. Investigando en la red pude conseguir unos tutoriales muy buenos por youtube y allí pude comprender lo que esos nombres significaban y como me servirían para posicionar la antena.
Para ese entonces contaba con una sola antena completa que era de DIRECTV, mi decodificador FTA regalado, una llave ajustable y una brújula. Comencé a armar todo, me lleve la TV afuera junto con todo lo demás, programe el decodificador, Instale la antena, ubique en una página de internet llamada DISHPOINTER los datos del satélite donde iba a realizar el apuntamiento, era el satélite HISPASAT 30w, anote los datos de Azimut y Elevación, el azimut son los grados de apuntamiento a donde se debe girar, es lo que te permite orientar la antena en el Angulo exacto, luego la elevación te permitirá encontrar desde el horizonte el satélite en cuestión.
Me tomo bastante tiempo alrededor de 4 horas, si, bastante tiempo ya que era mi primera vez, ya cansado, sudado, y con el sol a su máxima expresión, realice el ultimo escaneo y mayor sorpresa fue ver en la pantalla de la tv la barra de señal que estaba en 5% llegar a 95%, dije Dios mío por fin conseguí la bendita señal. Me entro una alegría tan grande que Salí corriendo a decirle a mi esposa.
Ya los últimos pasos que realice para completar ese apuntamiento fue la programación de los transpondedores, que son una serie de números que se graban en el decodificador, para que este pueda descargar los canales, es como una especie de protocolo de transmisión y recepción entre en decodificador y el satélite.
Desde esos días que fueron negros para mí y mi familia porque no teníamos como poder ver programas en la televisión, hasta el día de hoy, sigo practicando el uso de la televisión satelital abierta. Cuento con una pequeña estación, varias antenas situadas para varios satélites en donde disfruto canales de pago y gratis.
When one of the many crises that our country Venezuela is facing began, by this I mean the crisis of satellite television, the drop in the signal of the old DIRECTV currently known as SIMPLE TV, I saw the urgent need to find a solution to that problem, and this was the search for free satellite television.
To understand this a bit, I will briefly explain what FTA (Free to Air) television means is known by many people worldwide, unknown to many as in my case at that time. A fairly large fleet of Satellites is distributed around the world which emit different radio waves known as Ku Band, Ka Band, C Band, in which a different receiving device is needed for each one of them.
These three types of Band that are the most common in emission by most of these satellites that are located throughout the Clarke belt, are waves that they receive from specific parts of the earth and that reflect towards other parts of the world for proper transmission on different devices, televisions, radios, internet equipment among others.
With all this, I began to investigate and project how I could obtain that signal, based on what I had at my disposal, as I like everything related to computers since I have knowledge about that medium, and I also like electronics and telecommunications , I always have devices in my house that some clients give me or give me for not using, and among those was a decoder called FTA to obtain a signal from these satellites.
It had been a long time since a person had given me that device and I had really never stopped him or taken it seriously for not knowing anything about it. From there began the journey in search of open satellite television signals and thus be able to enjoy in the company of my family a pleasant and different time to get out of the routine of not watching anything on TV or always watching the same series and movies on the PC.
I decided to start up, I began to look for information regarding how to capture the signal from the satellites and how the position of the antenna would be, I found information that took me a little time to understand because it was somewhat confusing, the programming, the transponders, the azimuth elevation were things that I did not understand, and not having someone I trust to clarify my doubts on this issue. Researching on the web I was able to get some very good tutorials on YouTube and there I was able to understand what those names meant and how they would help me to position the antenna.
At that time I had a single complete antenna that was from DIRECTV, my free FTA decoder, an adjustable wrench, and a compass. I started to put everything together, I took the TV outside along with everything else, I programmed the decoder, I installed the antenna, I located on an internet page called DISHPOINTER the data of the satellite where I was going to make the aim, it was the HISPASAT 30w satellite, write down the Azimuth and Elevation data, the azimuth is the degrees of pointing to where it should be rotated, it is what allows you to orient the antenna in the exact Angle, then the elevation will allow you to find the satellite in question from the horizon.
It took me quite a long time around 4 hours, yes, quite a long time since it was my first time. Tired, sweaty, and with the sun at its maximum expression, I made the last scan and the biggest surprise was to see on the tv screen the signal bar that was at 5% reaching 95%, I said my God I finally got the blessing sign. I was so overjoyed that I ran out to tell my wife.
The last steps I took to complete that aim was the programming of the transponders, which are a series of numbers that are recorded in the decoder, so that it can download the channels, it is like a kind of transmission and reception protocol enters into decoder and satellite.
Since those days that were black for me and my family because we had no way to watch programs on television, until today, I continue to practice the use of open satellite television. I have a small station, which is made up of several antennas located for different satellites where I enjoy free and pay channels.

Tengo un decodificador bastante antiguo y par de antenas. Me pregunto ¿que condiciones se requieren para el decodificador? ¿como se pueden programar? Realmente tu publicación me dejo mas dudas, porque hace tiempo había leído algo sobre esto de las señales satelitales libres, pero pensaba que era mentira. Me tocara seguir investigando y pendiente de tus avances en esto. Saludos.
Amigo fragozar01, unos colegas y yo tenemos un proyecto llamado Univers donde tenemos varios grupos por whatsapp FTA, Electronica y HIve, me gustaría que formaras parte de nuestra familia, con respecto a los decodificadores hay que ver el modelo y los diámetros de las antenas, si son para banda Ku o Banca C. pero si se puede.
