RE: Do neutrinos and antineutrinos behave in exactly the same way? Enter T2K

in StemSocial5 years ago

Neutrinos and their mysteries... Hopefully the future will shed some light on their mass generation mechanism. I am personally working more and more on neutrinos, at least from the proton collider standpoint (this is still a small amount of my time, but more than 0 ;) ).

Are you part of T2K?

Sort:

I think many people expect that if some of the already known particles will show us a way forward ... this will be the neutrinos! So many mysteries converge on them.
No, I'm not a member of T2K (that would be cool though!).

Among other options ;)

What are you exactly working on, if I may ask?

I have worked on beyond-the-Standard-Model accelerator-based searches (mostly Z' and 4th gen. quarks) and on direct dark matter detection (mostly axions). At the moment I am going through a data science phase!

As many in the field... This is definitely not the golden age of particle physics at the moment :(
