RE: Living a carbon-free future

Good that you admitted to the fact

You only need to 'admit' to fact, if your interest is in scoring points.
Interesting that you frame it that way.

...that climate change has been occurring for the last 4 billion years. As a scientist, it is not enough to just be contented with the status quo

So change occurring for 4 billion years AND as status quo as the same time - - how does that work then?..reconcile.

We have far exceeded our carbon budget for this century and the implication is that we are depleting the planet at a much higher pace than naturally programmed.

What does this even mean?
lol.
Compared to what?
I never realized we had a budget.
Nature and her bloody bureaucracy!...oh, that's right, she doesn't have any...That's a man made paradigm.

We're way under budget, lads!... pump out that carbon - stat!

I'm not subtle, nor was I trying to be.
I was asking because if the answer came from a 15 year old and not a 50 year old, I would make allowances for the naivety of youth.
Over 30, and you have no excuse.

I look at it differently.
Do you trust proven liars?
I don't .

The 'climate industry' has been prove wrong - time and time, again.
I don't trust incompetent people - call me mr cynical..

The rest is naivete, gullibility, and conformation bias.

I would have taken a good time out to argue with you further on this topic if only you will do away with the condescending tone of your argument. I guess there won't be any need.

Yet it was yourself that using subjective, loaded terms, and framing the narrative in such a way...
Projection, anyone? lol
Funny how logic and reason intimidates those who are used to being accepted as an 'authoritative sources'.
Funny how they withdraw from the debate every time.

Are you aware of the psychological profile of the midwit..?
