Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh is the world's longest natural sea beach, and a popular tourist destination in the country.
But while it has traditionally been celebrated for its lack of development, there are now growing fears that new buildings being constructed along the beach are going to threaten its environment and wildlife.
At high tide the beach is 200 metres (660 ft) wide and at low tide it is 400 metres (1,300 ft) wide on average. Quicksand is a danger during ebb tide.
