This inhumane act ought to have been abolished long ago, but because of some cultures and religion, it's traces are still in existence, but I think with time the right thing will be done. Thanks for your input and encouragement.

Male circumcision started in pre-history when clothes were rare; so it may well have been a fashion statement like earrings and nose rings are today.
People are willing to do all sorts of foolish things in the name of fashion.
