I'm going to say something that might be dumb but give me all ears, because I found it making sense, alright:
I've been thinking about COVID-19 for a while and how it's hazardous to not wear masks, or else we'll be infected, so, I noticed something about masks, when I was going home, I've passed by a garbage box, and I was able to smell the garbage while I was wearing the mask in a completely correct way, then this thing came to my mind, we know that smells are molecules that came from that garbage box and passed to my noise and I was able to smell it, so in my opinion, we know pretty much that viruses are also , so it's supposed to go through my mask and enter my noise, doesn't this make masks useless to wear?

In the case of ordinary masks, the wearer does not use them to protect himself, but rather to protect people, as the droplets do not spread from sneezing or coughing.
isn't the main point of mask protecting yourself from the virus?
When every one wear a mask, you will be protected, that's the point lol
