Unfortunately, some people, due to their morphological appearances, feel they are superior to others, and behave as such. This has a fundamental implication in our coexistence as humans of different races. Respecting our differences will definitely bring more peace to the world.
Welcome to a new edition of STEMng Digest.
Who are we?
STEMng is the Nigerian sub-community of the stemsocial community, a community that has been supporting stem authors on the hive blockchain for about four years now. While stemsocial focuses on everyone irrespective of their country, STEMng is specifically for Nigerians. The best stem contents published by Nigerians on the Hive blockchain are highlighted weekly.
Below are the posts that made it into our digest for this week:
1.@sam9999: FUGU- A delicacy made from a fish 1000 times more poisonous than cyanide ⁉️
Our first post for this week is a literary definition of "delicious poison". Imagine something that tastes so good, but yet poisons so bad. How do we then reconcile the two? This is the reality with a fish known as putterfish. You can say there's nothing about fishes, not until you taste the fish. How is it then made safe for consumption? You will need to read the post. A really interesting piece. I recommend 100%.
2.@ebingo: The Muscles are a bag of water
Muscles serve really important functions in the body of organisms generally. Have you ever tried to eat a meat that is largely muscular? Pretty tough to eat, especially if your dentition ain't strong. But what if someone tells you that those muscles you find difficult to eat are largely made up of water? I didn't say it, but our second featured post says it. The interesting part? The author is damn right with scientific explanations. Read on!
3.@olubunmiakinmade: LET'S TALK ABOUT BINGE EATING
We have a new entrant into this week's STEMng Digest. Do find yourself eating a lot of food at a go or eating too frequently? It could be that you are suffering from a food-related disorder known as binge eating. Beyond just eating large food portions and or a high frequency eating, there are some other symptoms that could help confirm this condition. Read the post for full understanding of this condition.
4.@thomisin: The Tongue as A Window to Your Health
The tongue is one of the most vital organs in the body of higher animals. It performs a wide variety of functions, some of which are known to the layman without being told. However, what if you, as a layman, are told that the physical appearance of your tongue can be an indication of your health condition? If you are in doubt or curious to know more, read this post.
5.@nattybongo: Be careful with your Contact Lenses usage
What is a STEMng Digest without an eye post? Incomplete! If you use a contact lens, intends to use one in the nearest future, or has someone that uses, this post is a must read. Those lenses may seem harmless and very easy to use, especially when compared to a pair of glasses. However, contact lens usage, if care is not observed, may be a source of vision loss, just like the story of the woman in the post. Read it.
And that ends our selections for this week. Do not forget to give the featured posts/authors your maximum support. Thank you in advance.

See you again next week!
Understanding how different in opinion and how diverse we can get to be as humans, is the reason why I do not like getting into arguments. If my opinion doesn't align with yours, we do not need to quarell or fight about it, I share mine and I listen to yours, but it is not a necessity for me to accept yours, neither it is for you to accept mine, and life moves on easily.
If everyone can assume your position always, there will be peace in the world.
Indeed, understanding individual differences and giving it the needed respect would ensure peace prevail at all times, it is such a pleasure to be featured this week, gratitude and congratulations to all selected posts, let's continue to share great content on hive. Cheers!
It is quite simple to say, but difficult for people to practice. Hence, the problems with the world. Thanks for always feeding us with your awesome content.

I truly believe the world would be very boring if we all had the same point of view & liked the same things
