RE: Do Instant Noodles Really Cause Cancer?

in StemSocial5 days ago

Growing up, there were a lot of stories, myths and cases we didn't know where they originated from about different types of food both processed and home cooked, including but not limited to Noodles, Beans, Pringles, and so on. For the pringles part, not everyone was opportune to have the luxury of buying such so people believed it was just a big man food killing big men and I guess this was because of the high level of poverty in the country but in reality, pringles isn't that expensive and maybe we could just say our parents didn't know much about it.

For noodles and Beans, there were a lot of myths that the products themselves could lead to different medical illnesses and even poison. I remembered one time when people were throwing away their beans because they were scared of dying. The majority of research to ascertain what is really causing these medical issues (if they are true) are done in the west, and the majority of people just agree blindly with rumors. There are a lot of rumors around food that allow us to discard the food itself instead of looking into what could cause the negative effect from the food as well as find out if they are true or not. There are a lot of baseless rumors around food, and scientists are doing their best to ensure that we get the truth.
