I went to visit an old time acquaintance and when I entered the house, the first stench that hit me was that of pee or urine. I do not have a problem with whatever pop culture people have decided to create or practice from the TicTok influencer you seen your phone either by using it as perfume, or mixing it with other things to form whatever they want to use on their face, or mix to become a shampoo, body wash or any other thing. One advice for you, if it has no medical backing do not use it moreover these so called influencers are making money from their videos.

Let's get out of the urination business and influencer talks because I guess that was what the lady I went to visit was using. Let's talk about why it caught my attention, the smell. Why do urine or pee smell and could there be a reason why it smells more or less? Before you start to think you have a problem, Urine is meant to have a slight smell and a yellowish color because it is a combination of waste and water that was filtered by the kidney.
When we discuss urine coloration, there are a lot of factors that can cause them and eating certain food and fruits are part of it such as beets, which can turn urine color red or pink but this isn't the only reason why your pee can change color. Other factors are blood in urine, infection, and kidney stones. This said, a strong smell doesn't also mean that there is something wrong because there are a list of reasons why your pee can have a strong smell with one being dehydration as the lesser the water being taken in, the more concentrated the urine will be causing your urine smell to be strong and unpleasant and also your urine at the time will be dark yellow.
Eating food like Asparagus, broccoli, and others like Coffee, Honey, and dried fruit can cause urine to stink and it is not only that fruits like Onion, Garlic, and Brussel Sprouts can also cause pee to stink. Taking supplements like vitamin B supplements can also give a unique smell to pee since vitamin B isn't stored in the body, it is released with urine.
With too much vitamin b1, urine can have a fishy smell while vitamin D3 also releases a strong smell. Drugs like Sulfonamides which are prescribed as antibacteria will give your urine a pungent smell but for pungent smell, there can be other causes of urine smell including metabolic diseases, kidney diseases, liver disease, prostate infection, menopause, STD like Chlamydia, and bladder infection.
Urine smell also comes from diabetes as the body is on a mission to remove a high amount of sugar from the body. Other disease that causes the urine to smell is Maple Syrup Urine disease which is as a result of the body's inability to break down certain amino acids leading to a build up of amino acids in the blood. Its symptoms includes frequent urination, sweat, and earwax that smell like maple syrup. Asides from this condition, another condition that can cause urine to smell is tyrosinemia which is the body's inability to break down tyrosine and this causes urine to smell like boiled cabbage.
