I did enjoy it although I couldn't understand some clinical and medical terms being that I am an engineer.

But just one question, if this abscess is not being removed, what are the risks?

Hi @tomlee...usually improve with local cure and antibiotic therapy and without causing major complications, however when this is not treated and we are facing a multi-resistant bacteria or the person does not have good immunity is often observed gangrene, skin necrosis, osteomyelitis and even loss of the affected limb by infection.
