Lockdown and mask mandates have to stop

in COVID-194 years ago (edited)

Let us be honest about lockdowns and mask mandates. It doesn't work as a way of "beating the virus". And if it has an effect, it's such a marginalized one that it can't justify the costs (in financial, health or freedom terms).

I'm in Germany right now. The mask mandate has been going on for about a year, the current lockdown from November (with "hard lockdown", i.e. everything locked except food and pharmacy stores, with nightly curfews, contact ban etc.) and will now get prolonged until after Easter.

If masks and lockdowns worked, surely there would be a need for another month of them? Indeed Germany would not have almost an identical curve to Sweden that didn't lockdown or fore a mask mandate everywhere (even though Sweden is head in the wrong direction since the parliament passed an outrageous new law overturning our constitution).

Stop the charade.
