I was happy as hell when Pedo Joe's mandates got shot down. I did not have to worry about loosing my job thanks to him. It seemed like we were through the worst of this shit. Well fuck me, the state and local governments are now pushing the same crap.
The county I live in has implemented similar mandates, so I am back in the same situation. They are not out right firing people that are not vaccinated, thankfully, but I do have to get tested once a week. It can't be an at home test, it has to be a clinic. The first 2 weeks were annoying but easy. Go to the clinic, wait in line for about 30 minutes, jam the stick up my nose, wait for the test results.
But now thanks to optimis prime variant, and the holidays, the lines are like 2+ hours long. It is such bull shit. The clinics are only open 8-6 and I don't leave work until 5, so by the time I get there they are already stopping registration. CVS does not take walk ups and the appointments are booked for the next 3 weeks.
We have had 2 case of covid come through our office in the 2 weeks that they started testing, both of them were people with all 3 jabs. I have made it 2 years with no covid, and that means nothing jab or fuck you. These vaxed assholes are able to walk around spreading this shit as much as they want, but I have to take these bull shit precautions.
I'm thinking about moving, and switching jobs. I've never cared about the politics about where I live. I have always just voted for who I thought was best, but now I'm looking for red states. Anyone know any good areas?
Right now I am thinking about waiting until the mid-terms and voting in the reddest people available, then booking it to a better spot but, I don't wanna wait another year to kick rocks. Fuck this scamdemic, and fuck the people who are pushing this authoritarian bullshit.
I've seen 3 of my friend ignorantly take the jabs and have negative effects. One got peri-myocarditis and was not able to walk down the street for 3 months, the other just had a stroke, and the other now has seizures. All of them were young guys 18-23 no prior issues, and now they are all fucked in some way.
Thankfully I'm seeing people slowly wake up, but what does it take. For me it was simple they made these clot-shots in 6 months tested them for less than 6 months, and the companies that made them have no legal liability if it winds up hurting or killing people. Are people really that scientifically illiterate, that was not a huge warning sign? I asked one of my friends how he could take it and he said the government said it was safe. It made my jaw drop. This guy is a vet that served in Afghanistan, he has told me many time about how the government was lying about everything that was going on over there. He rants all the time about 2008 as his parents lost their house. He is as close to a conspiracy theorist as any one, he knows many of the lies that the government has pushed, but some how he is totally on board with they are telling the truth now? How? How the hell can someone understand the long list of times the government has lied and think they are telling the truth this time?
Sorry if this is too ranty, but I'm so tired of all of this, I just wanna go live in the woods at this point and watch the world burn itself up.
