Recently I was invited to do this initiative by @ilazramusic which I found very interesting and see each different and amazing animals that put me a lot of motive to include me the truth, I thank @mafer.cabrera for inviting me to participate.

Animals are the best thing that can exist, each one is a different world which is very nice to know each and every one of them especially learn from them, the only thing I have never supported with much sincerity is to profit from them and use them for bad purposes that end up hurting them or in the worst cases killing them to the point of extinction.

I hope someday the human being will come to his senses and we will learn from them that they are pure beings and they are beings of love without a hint of evil in them, that is why I have always thought that they are pure and beautiful beings.

Without more to say I will tell you about the three exotic animals that fascinate me the most, it was not easy to choose but these three are perfect for me and the truth managed to capture all my attention.

Fennec fox (vulpes zerdas):

This little animal won a big place in my heart, I had never seen such a beautiful and wonderful animal, they are small foxes that have a small size and with beautiful big ears that fit perfectly🥰.

Although their ears are not only beautiful, they have them so big because they contain blood vessels very close to the skin that allows them to cool the blood and reduce the body temperature, something very convenient since their natural habitat is between Africa and Asia, in the Sahara desert and in the Sinai peninsula. They build their burrows in fixed dunes or open spaces.

  • Feeding:

Desert foxes are nocturnal and love to eat eggs, insects, rodents, birds or reptiles that they hunt with the help of their highly developed hearing. They also eat a few berries and dates.

  • Reproduction:

These little ones become sexually mature at about 9 months of age. Then they choose a mate that they keep for life! Beautiful, isn't it? They mate in January and February. They are very sociable but defend their territories very well.

It should be noted that this small species is not in danger of extinction thank God, but it is still in a conservative program, but whose trade should be regulated frequently these little ones are persecuted and hunted for their skin very unfortunate but the human being is like that. Their skin is sold to tourists or for exhibitions, an animal that has never done anything to human beings.

To finish I would like to add that the word Fénec means fox and comes from the Arabic and its scientific name epithet zerda belongs to the Greek and refers to their habitat in which they usually live, other authors give it the meaning of "cunning".

WALLABY:

They are perfect, who wouldn't want to have one? For those who do not know what a wallaby is, it is simple, they are like small kangaroos but the truth is that they are too small to be considered kangaroos in themselves, the difference is that the legs of the kangaroo are much longer, between the ankle and the knee. The wallaby's legs are much shorter and compact. Both are bouncy, and use both legs and their tails to move around.

Tell me who never liked to see or own a kangaroo? But they are kind of scary because of how big they are haha that's why wallabies are perfect, beautiful and very docile!

Wallabies are mammals of the macropodidae family. They are marsupials called "wallaby". They are typical animals of Australia and New Guinea, inhabiting open, rugged terrain with shrubs and bushes.

  • Feeding:

Their diet is simple as they are herbivores, eating grass, herbs, leaves, roots, small trees and even shrubs and vegetables. Since water is very scarce in their natural environment, they have to travel long distances to find a small water source.

  • Reproduction:

Their reproduction is very similar to that of the kangaroo, after copulation their reproductive cycle goes through a period of embryonic diapause and the blastocyst suspends implantation and development, that is when they are born, but they are very small and without defenses that crawl to their mother's pouch to continue their development for a couple of months more. Although if the little one feels threatened or scared it can return to its mother's pouch. What adorable animals, aren't they? The love of mothers is unique, don't you think so?

Today their population is stable, thank God, so they are not considered endangered and hopefully they will remain so forever.

Chameleon:

Last but not the least my third exotic pet is the chameleon! One of the best lizards that exists, who doesn't know them? An animal that can change color when it wants usually to camouflage itself from its predators but not only that but also to reproduce or when they go hunting, they do not change color for pleasure but to meet a goal but that makes them more impressive and incredible as a child I always wanted to see one and well I have not yet managed to see it but I hope someday I will be able to do it, I still have faith ♥️.

Their eye characteristics is very peculiar and it really catches my attention how they can move them anywhere, something very interesting.

  • Habitat:

It is very true that chameleons are spread throughout many parts of the world and are usually found in many pet stores, although in Venezuela I have never seen them in any of them, although I am not a fan of buying pets because I don't like to take advantage of poor animals and profit from them, because they don't have the slightest idea of what they do. But for example in Europe there is only one species of chameleon and that is the common chameleon.
The rest of the chameleons are exported from Madagascar and they are the ones that export up to 50% of all the chameleon species that exist.

The chameleon is an animal really adaptable to its environment being an animal with great facility to stabilize in any ecosystem.

They inhabit in such disparate areas that can be forests and humid and lush plains, in mountains and deep jungles with high temperatures as quality and even in such arid desert areas that few animals can survive in these places.

And that's why we can appreciate so many beautiful pictures of these little animals, with different colors which serve them to adapt to their environment, wonderful isn't it?

  • Reproduction:
The reproduction of these little friends is something beautiful and impressive, because when they like a female they become a beautiful walking rainbow with scales to court.

At the same time moving its head from side to side and up and down, the chameleon changes colors to attract the attention of the female with whom it wants to reproduce.

But even with their efforts they do not always have the victory assured because if the female does not see the right moment or maybe she is having a bad day she is capable of injuring the male so that he leaves her alone, not even if you want these poor animals are saved from a lady rejecting them outright hahaha.

Their reproduction is oviparous for most of them: the mother fertilizes the eggs inside her.
