Hi there, dear readers! I'm here with another blog, and in this blog, I'll be talking about my dog. The one and only Blu! It has been a while since I've talked about him, so I hope that you are also as excited as I am.
As someone who is not good with change, something major happened. Blu's walking schedule changed, and I wasn't happy about it. However, I've been adjusting to that shift, and most evenings I find it pretty nice.
As an introvert, I prefer walking my dog during the night because there are fewer people I have to interact with. I like being alone with my thoughts and Blu. It gives me time to wind down and slow down. Lessening my stress with every step I take with my dog.
The cold air embraces me during those nights, and I find it very comforting. The moon and the stars stare down at us like they are guarding us from above. Sometimes, I stop and look up for a few minutes just so I can take in the beautiful view.
From my Blu's perspective, I think that he prefers the night shift as well. He is a reactive dog, despite doing my best to train him. I have done my best to do my job as an owner well, but some things are out of my control. It is always better to prevent an accident than risk him to bite people or other dogs. Things are always calmer at night in my neighborhood.
The streets are empty, and there are little to no motorcycles that are running and operating at that hour. Everything is quiet but not deafening. Crickets sing as nights progress, I can only hope that nothing ever changes when I take these peaceful walks with Blu.
In times when I get to walk a little bit early in the evening, the sunsets literally take my breath away. Different colors that dance along the sky fill my eyes with bliss. I love sunsets. I used to think they were overrated, but I've come to appreciate them more and more each time I see them.
Another dog usually comes with Blu and me during our walks, and he is a sweet big guy and his name is Boogie.
Boogie
My uncle has a dog named Boogie but he lives in our home. Taking walks with him around Blu and me makes me feel happy and protective. Sometimes he acts like he does not like Blu, but when it's time for Blu's walks, Boogie always tries his best to come along with us and act as our "guard dog". He is a big and old dog and is quite overprotective of Blu.
He is probably around 10 years old at this point hehe. He is a black and white aspin (Asong Pinoy, which translates to Filipino Dog). He has a big appetite, likes head scratches, and he is 7 years older than Blu. He is the best big brother that Blu could ever have!
Another dog also comes with Blu, Boogie, and I.
Chico
Chico is a sweetie by heart, but just like Blu, he can be reactive sometimes. Well, he is either reactive or he doesn't really like me. Just kidding! He can be clingy to me from time to time, dogs never get enough of my head and chin scratches hehe.
He rarely comes to walks with us, but I feel even safer when he does. He does not like to bark, I actually like that trait of his. He isn't aggressive with other dogs, he just gets a little nervous when people are near him. He does not like being suddenly touched or when he gets bothered from his little naps lol
Lastly, we have Max!
Max
He is a very hyperactive dog. Every single time he hears the gate open and sees Blu and I go outside, he never fails to drop everything he does just to run up to us and greet Blu. He jumps with joy and is always enthusiastic when it comes to taking walks.
Just like Boogie, he is quite protective when it comes to Blu despite being on the small side of dog sizes.
Blu is really loved, isn't he, my dear readers? He is quite lucky to have a family who does everything to keep him happy. Three brave brothers who are willing to protect him with everything they have. In a way, I am quite happy to have these pups as my family. I'm grateful that I am able to go on these walks and clear my mind. Without them, I would probably be rotting away in my room on my phone all day.

@alme, I sent you anTrue! Walking during night time is really much preferable than walking during day. Aside from avoiding the scorching heat of the sun, the tranquility that you'll feel while walking is something else. Btw, it's nice to know that you're able to find good companionship with your dogs...dogs are indeed man's best friend!
It is nice to have dogs at home Ma'am @alme I don't like dogs before because I was bitten by a dog when I was young, however when I started renting a house near the school that I am working, there is a stray dog that keeps following me and guard me until that dog touches my heart and makes me feel that dogs are harmless. They just want us to be our friend.
