Cally sounds like she's a right handful !
Have you tried setting it up so they all get to meet up after they've eaten and are all full up and relaxed ? That way, they're not competing for food.
If that works, you could move on to setting up mealtime so Cally eats at the same time and in the same room as the others, but on the opposite side of the room. We've had that work in the past with some of ours; if they associate seeing the others as meaning they'll get fed, it creates a positive association (but risks fat cats !) Food security is a huge motivator for cats !
But big props to Aime and Matthew, they're heroes for the efforts they're putting in to make it work ๐
yep. That's pretty much what we've been doing. The older girls get totally freaked out after a confrontation and won't eat, even if I set them up in my room. I can't believe Cally (who is a kitten still) can be such a bully! I know she is just scared too though. So this morning I have all three cats in my room but Cally is in a cat box so she can't attack the other cats. As I said above, I think the next step is to get them as goofed as possible on catnip together!

Catnip's good ! Are you able to get Feliway diffusers in South Africa ? They're a plug-in device that looks like an air freshener, but with cat-calming pheromones. When we got Salvador it was a game-changer having one in his room.
