Hola amigos. Hoy escribo un post que para mí es muy especial, ya que en estas líneas les contaré como le ha ido a nuestra pequeña peludita en sus primeros días con nosotros en casa.
Hello friends. Today I write a post that for me is very special, because in these lines I will tell you how our little furry one has been doing in her first days with us at home.
Como les comenté en los post anteriores los cachorritos de Fifí (la perrita de mis papás) se quedaron todos en la familia para que no les falte amor y se puedan ver constantemente. Bruno está con una prima de mi esposo, Belén se quedó en casa de mis papás con Fifí y Bruna es la consentida de mi hogar y se vino a vivir con mi esposo y conmigo.
As I mentioned in the previous posts, Fifi's puppies (my parents' dog) stayed with the family so they don't lack love and can see each other constantly. Bruno is with a cousin of my husband, Belen stayed at my parents' house with Fifi and Bruna is the darling of my home and came to live with my husband and me.
Apenas cumplió los dos meses de vida la llevamos a casa para que viva con nosotros, al principio yo estaba bastante nerviosa porque ya no iba a tener la compañía de Fifí y Belén. Bruna estaría sólita con nosotros en casa y me daba un poco de miedo pensar que se sintiera sola o le hiciera falta jugar con los otros perritos, pero gracias a Dios se adaptó súper súper bien a la compañía constante de nosotros.
As soon as she was two months old we took her home to live with us, at first I was quite nervous because she would no longer have the company of Fifi and Belen. Bruna would be alone with us at home and I was a little scared to think that she would feel lonely or that she would need to play with the other dogs, but thank God she adapted very well to our constant company.
Aprovechamos de llevarla un fin de semana para poder pasar todo el día en casa con ella mientras conocía cada rincón y se iba familiarizando con el sitio. Yo creo que le ayudo mucho a sentirse cómoda, ya que ella nos conoce desde que llegó al mundo y solo le cambiamos fue la casa donde vivía.
We took the opportunity to take her for a weekend so we could spend the whole day at home with her while she got to know every corner of the house and became familiar with the place. I think it really helped her to feel comfortable, since she has known us since she came into the world and the only thing we changed was the house where she lived.
Apenas llegó exploró cada rincón y cuando se sintió en confianza se metió dentro de su cama y se quedó muy tranquila. Nosotros también le habilitamos otro rincón con varias sábanas por si quería recostarse allí, que tuviera un espacio grande y cómodo solo para ella. Estas sábanas también estaban en la casa de mis papás y traían su olor y el de su manada lo que la hacía sentir también cómoda, pues reconocía el olor de todo.
As soon as she arrived she explored every corner and when she felt confident she got into her bed and stayed very quiet. We also provided her with another corner with several sheets in case she wanted to lie down there, so she would have a big and comfortable space just for herself. These sheets were also at my parents' house and they brought her scent and that of her pack, which made her feel comfortable too, because she recognized the smell of everything.
Nunca imaginé querer tanto a una pequeña bolita de pelos perruna, en mi infancia y adolescencia solía mantener distancia con estos animalitos y pensaba que jamás iba a querer tener uno, pero definitivamente los cachorritos de Fifí me hicieron cambiar de opinión y Bruna en especial es ahora uno de mis tesoros. Además ella es muy cariñosa conmigo y es inevitable sentir infinita ternura y amor por ella.
I never imagined I would love a little ball of doggy fur so much, in my childhood and adolescence I used to keep my distance with these little animals and I thought I would never want to have one, but definitely Fifi's puppies made me change my mind and Bruna in particular is now one of my treasures. She is also very affectionate with me and it is inevitable to feel infinite tenderness and love for her.
