My first cat as a pet. / Mi primer gato como mascota.

He is Shadow, he is about two years and four months old. At first, he didn't like me at all, scratched and growled at me. He bonded more with my sister and nephew.
For months, he wouldn't let me sleep, walked around the room and knocked over things. He meowed every dawn. This cat is something else.
I had to leave home for work for three months. When I returned, he approached me and rubbed against my legs. He even lay on top of my suitcase. Hard to believe, but it's true.
Another thing Shadow does, which I don't know if it's normal for all cats, is that he doesn't do his business completely in his litter box. He goes once and then waits for it to be cleaned before doing the other. If you don't clean it immediately, he'll come get you and let you know.
Shadow doesn't eat any type of meat or fish. You know what he eats? Fruits. He's a vegetarian cat. His favorite fruit is papaya. But you have to cut it into very small pieces for him to eat it. He gets so excited when I bring papaya.
I can't show you the video or many photos because I changed devices. I only have one photo I took before traveling, but unfortunately it wasn't backed up in the cloud. I promise to take some photos and videos of his antics when I'm home.
One day, Shadow ran away from home and didn't come back. I couldn't sleep that night. He returned at five in the morning. I was worried because he didn't have his vaccines at that time, and they say that without certain vaccines, they are very vulnerable to getting sick. When I took him to get vaccinated, he got uncomfortable on the way and started attacking me. I arrived at the vet all scratched up. After the vaccine, he calmed down until we got home. They made me get a vaccine because of the wounds Shadow caused me.
Shadow bonded first with my nephew. When my nephew is around, he meows and goes to him for affection. When my nephew goes to school, Shadow wants to go after him. It's the same with my sister. He doesn't let her leave the house. It's funny because he attacks her purse and work bag. I've seen these things or situations with dogs, not cats. But well, just like us humans, every living being has its own way of being, its own personality.
This is the first time I have a cat as a pet, and I must say I was surprised by his abilities. He's a very intelligent animal. I don't understand why he was aggressive towards me at first, but I guess every living being is as you treat them. Despite being rebellious for a while, Shadow listens and does his business in the appropriate place from day one until now. The incredible thing is that I said I didn't want cats, and a friend brought me this little kitten as a gift, and now he's the spoiled one in the house.

El es sombra el ahorita tiene como dos años y cuatro meses, este gatico es una cosa seria, empezando que al principio no me quería para nada, este me arañaba y me gruñía, esto fue así por muchos meses, no le gustaba que le hiciera cariño, no quería que me acercara, el se dio mas con mi hermana y mi sobrino.
En unos meses ni me dejaba dormir, paseaba el cuarto y tiraba todo lo que el quería, yo lo colocaba en su lugar y el volvía y lo tumbaba, maullaba todas las madrugadas, la verdad yo no tuve tranquilidad este gato es tremendo.
Recuerdo que tuve que ausentarme de casa por motivo de trabajo, estuve tres meses fuera, para mi sorpresa en lo que entro a casa este se acerca y pasa entre mis piernas, cuando coloco la maleta para desempacar este viene y se echa en sima de ella, cuesta creer pero es la verdad.
Otra cosa que hace sombra y la verdad no se si es normal en todos los gatos es que el no hace sus necesidades completas en su caja, este hace una y hay que limpiar para que el haga la otra, si no vas de inmediato a limpiar el va te busca y te avisa, y si estas durmiendo pues ya sabrán que hace, me despierta, al principio me daba con sus garras súper afiladas luego luego ya con sus almohadillas de sus paritas.
Sombra no come ningún tipo de canes ni pescados, saben que come? Frutas, sombra le gusta las frutas, me salió vegetariano el gato, la fruta que mas le gusta es la lechosa ( papaya ) ha pero este no es que se la come así nada mas, a el hay que picársela en trozos muy pequeños para que el señor se la coma, si viera como se desespera cuando llevo lechosa.
Pues como tuve que cambiar de dispositivo no les puedo mostrar el video ni muchas fotos, solo tengo una que le tome antes de viajar y lamentablemente no se respaldaron en la nube, pero prometo que cuando este en casa tomare unas fotos de sus ocurrencias y video.
Sombra un día se salió de casa y no regresaba, ese día no dormí nada, el sr gato regreso a las cinco de la mañana, me preocupaba porque no tenia para ese entonces las vacunas, decían que sin ciertas vacunas ellos son muy vulnerables a enfermarse, cuando lo lleve a colocarle la vacuna me lo lleve sin nada, este en el camino se incomodo no se y me empezó agredir, llegue al veterinario todo rajuñado imaginen eso, luego de la vacuna se quedo tranquilo hasta llegar a casa, pues a mi me mandaron a colocarme una vacuna debido a las heridas que me hizo sombra.
Sombra con la primera persona que se dio fue con mi sobrino, cuando mi sobrino esta cerca empieza a maullar y cuando lo ve sale corriendo y le hace cariño, cuando el se va a clases pues el sombra se quiere ir tras mi sobrino, con mi hermana es igual no la deja salir de casa, es cómico porque el ataca su cartera su bolso de trabajo, estas cosas o situación lo he visto con perros no con gatos, pero bueno así como nosotros los humanos tenemos nuestra propia forma de ser, personalidad.
Es la primera vez que tengo como mascota un gato y repito quede sorprendido con sus habilidades es un animal muy inteligente la verdad, no entiendo porque la agresividad con migo al principio pero debo de ir que cada ser vivo es como lo tratas, sombra a pesar de un tiempo rebelde hace caso hace sus necesidades desde el día cero hasta ahora en su lugar adecuado para que el haga lo suyo, lo increíble es que yo dije que no quería gatos y una amistad me trajo de regalo ese gatito y lo acepte ahora es el consentido de casa.
