Hi everyone, I can't believe the weekend is in sight, haha. Happy Friday btw. Today I will introduce you to the cat who owns my boarding house. If I had previously introduced the neighbor's cat who always roamed in my room area, today I will introduce the ruler of the house I live.
This great friend is a cat who is spoiled and obedient when he is near his owner. He used to be called "DEBO" by my boarding house owner. Debo is a Persian with thick gray fur that I met about three years ago. Yup, he's been in control of my residence for a long time. Back when I met Debo, he was a friendly and spoiled cat. If you want to hug him, he will easily approach and let you pet him. In the past, Debo had a partner who was so loyal to him. A partner who is always by his side wherever he goes. "Debo and Debi" that's how I know them. A pair of loyal cats who take care of each other.
Debo and Debi had been treated together since childhood. They were adopted together and became friends into adulthood, and they are the cats of my boarding house owner's child. Because he travels a lot for work, finally my boarding house owner takes care of them. Unfortunately, at this time, there was only a lonely Debo who was left pacing in front of the yard alone. I usually find him fast asleep alone under the car, sleeping with the dust clinging to his long fur.
Since Debi died about two years ago, Debo has become a quiet and cold cat. He was as far away as possible if anyone wanted to get close to him. He lost his only loyal friend who always accompanied his days. Since losing Debi, Debo prefers to be cold and indifferent to people who want to approach him. Unlike my neighbor's cat that roams around the room, Debo rarely plays in my room even though we are in the same house. After losing Debi, Debo is like a lonely cat with a gloomy face.
Today I found Debo wandering around my room. Since he wasn't very familiar with people he didn't know well, he would run away if anyone wanted to get close to him. It is difficult to earn his trust if we are impatient. Today he allowed me to touch and pet him. Unlike usual, he would run away when he saw me from a distance. Even after being given permission, he was still very wary of me. He will run away immediately if I make a slight mistake. I'm so lucky to have met him today. Taking a moment to make sure I wouldn't hurt him, he finally allowed me to pet him until he seemed a little more relaxed.
He needed more attention that could keep him safe. Maybe if people saw him, they would think he was a fierce and unfriendly cat. But in fact, he was a kind, spoiled and gentle child. He's just trying to test how hard you want to be friends. After a while, he finally fell asleep. I left him alone in front of my room to let him enjoy his day.
