ENGLISH

Hi guys, today I want to share my day with my two cats Aurora and Simba Raspicuim. For today, Saturday, there was a veterinary day for my community pets, dogs and cats. From very early in the morning, my youngest daughter and I got ready to get ready with our cats taking each one of us; as we do not have kener for the moment, we had to carry them in bags, fortunately the place of the day was practically down the building in a square that we have nearby, where there are many trees and quite wide, a very favorable issue.

When we arrived, they had already arranged several chairs so that those of us who arrived with our pets could place ourselves according to our order of arrival. The veterinarians and assistance personnel had not yet arrived, but the people from the community who had organized the event were there and they were in charge of giving us numbers to better organize the attention of our pets, that really benefited us all because everything flowed much faster than when the veterinarians arrived.

While we were waiting, many of the dogs and pets looked nervous, others were playing with each other and others, like Aurora and Simba, were scared together with their owners, because of so much movement in the place; at least mine are not used to so much presence of people and animals. My daughter had Aurora and I had Simba. This was his second appointment with the vet, unlike Aurora that we have already taken her several times to the vet, so for him it was a relatively new experience.

But Aurora instead of behaving better, did the opposite, she was meowing almost all the time, until she kind of caught the tranquility of Simba who after the initial shock and excitement, calmed down and cuddled in my arms, with his blanket and took a nap until the vet made her consultation. It was quite cold and we brought them their blankets, that helped to calm them down, it is a great tool to give them that sense of security.

When it was their turn for their consultation, they were both checked and their medical histories were taken, they were dewormed and vaccinated against rabies, they also gave us indications to give them their triple feline and they told us when it was their turn and where to go to get it, since they did not have it available; This activity was totally free for our community; they attended to the community dogs and cats being them the priority, that seemed perfect to me, they also wrote down all those that were already sterilized and those that were still to be sterilized, I imagine to count them and make a sterilization day, that seemed wonderful to me.

As for my two pampered ones, Simba allowed himself to be vaccinated and took his medicine calmly, now Aurora was another thing. She made a drama to take her medicine, (they had to give it to her twice) and to vaccinate her was an issue. My daughter, the doctor and I had to hold her so she could get her shots. After that, they gave us her new vaccine cards and we were able to say goodbye to everyone on site. Then they came home hungry, it was their turn for lunch and from what I could see, they were happy to be on their land, with their things and with their favorite humans. best regards!

Mi hija tenía a Aurora y yo tenía a Simba.

¡Saludos cordiales!
