We Should Be In Pack

Hewo Hoomans and Hivers,

What a purrfect day it is. Last night was rather cold because of the rain. Although we no longer sleep this way just like when we were young, Piccolo (my buddy) slept with me. Maybe he too was cold and needed some warmth. We are buddies as we literally are sharing everything together. Food, toys, place to hang out and this cushioned chair which we love to scratch.

During the day though we have our own individual activities or routines. We spend less time together as we are pursuing our own interests and curiosity. Piccolo loves to wander and play with other cats. I sometimes do that too but I feel safe being home. There are a few older cats who are invading our turf and it had been stressful lately. Seeing Piccolo here makes me think that we should be in pack together watching each other's back against the rivals and alpha cats. We both had suffered enough and we are too weak to even fight for our own but if we stay together we get better chances of survival against our stronger enemies. We need to think about cooperation in times of danger but that is me being influenced by a Hooman mind because it is our nature to either fight or run in times of danger I wish some of my friends will learn to cooperate just like a pack.
