Mariposa, my beloved cat, is a creature full of peculiarities and charm. Although she may seem distant and antisocial at first, those who manage to earn her affection discover a loyal and loving companion. Her reserved nature is simply a barrier that protects her tender heart, and once you break through that barrier, Mariposa becomes an inseparable friend.( ꈍᴗꈍ)

The story of Mariposa and me began a few years ago. From the moment I saw her, I knew there was something special about her. Her tricolored fur, predominantly soft white with patches of orange and black, immediately caught my attention. Her deep green eyes reflect an intelligence and curiosity that are distinctive features of her personality.

Mariposa is a cat who values her independence. She loves to explore her surroundings, whether it's the garden at home or the different rooms. Although she enjoys her alone time, it's not unusual to find her attentively observing from a corner or a window, watching everything happening around her with that analytical gaze that characterizes her. Her movements are elegant and graceful, and watching her move is like observing a little queen in her domain.

Mariposa's fur is another of her most notable qualities. It is incredibly soft to the touch, much like a plush toy. Keeping her coat in perfect condition requires dedication, and she knows it well. Despite being quite self-sufficient in terms of grooming, she enjoys brushing sessions, especially if they are carried out in a calm and relaxed environment. These moments not only help keep her fur tangle-free and beautiful but also strengthen the bond between us.

However, Mariposa has not always been so open to displays of affection. At first, her behavior was clearly antisocial. She avoided human contact, hid in the darkest corners of the house, and only came out when she was sure no one was around. But with patience and time, I began to understand her signals and respect her boundaries. I learned that to earn her trust, I had to approach her gradually and without pressure.

The key to gaining Mariposa's affection has been patience and respect. Little by little, I started leaving small treats in the places where she used to hide and speaking to her softly. Although at first, she only responded with a distant look, she eventually began to approach on her own. These small interactions grew until one day, Mariposa decided it was safe to let herself be petted. It was a magical moment that marked the beginning of our close relationship.

Now, Mariposa is much more open and trusting. Although she still has her moments of independence. Her games are a mix of agility and skill; she loves chasing small toys and showing off her hunting abilities.(◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
