August and September are very strange months for us here in Cape Town. Especially in the last few years. It is still bitterly cold, but somehow, the wild flowers are already starting to poke through the overgrown grass in wild areas (which apparently now includes our back yard ๐). Although it's definitely no where near spring yet, it seems like nature is not concerned and is following it's own clock.
I managed to capture this rare, gorgeous series of photos of Squeek resting in the sunshine and soaking up all that warmth. She's normally very camera shy, so I was surprised that she let me move the curtain and get so close.
Different times of day dictate where the sun will shine through our home. Here are some lovely shots of Lexi enjoying the sun equally as much.
I know we'll curse it in the summer, but this glorious winter sunshine is enough to make anyone want to curl up and just absorb it!
