AWWWW poor Cally. It sucks being a girl when it comes to these things.
She literally fell asleep with her head in my hand. just like this. I couldn't move it was just so precious <3
With boys, it's just a quick snip and squeeze! These days they don't even come home with stitches, but for their female counterparts, it's a whole other dramatic story.
With only three sutures, I must say the process has become far simpler. I was pleased to see no swelling or irritation and a relatively small cut.
When We let poor Cally out of the carrier, the poor thing was so wonky it was impossible not to laugh.
I left the cone off as she did not seem too worried by, well anything to be honest!
After a few hours and a good nap though, she started grooming like nobody's business. She just had to get that veterinary clinic smell off her. BUT as soon as she started munching away at the sutures, I put the collar on straight away.

She's been gently recovering with me as I also recover from some nasty secondary injuries! It's been lovely to not be alone.
I must admit, it does get a bit much though, so Aime takes her for weekends :p I'll probably move her there tonight, to be honest!
At first, I moved her just because I couldn't handle not being able tp open the window or my door and being stuck in here with the litter box was, well, awful 🤢🤢🤢😵💫😵💫😵💫😷😷😷
After Cally's move to Aime's room, @matthew-williams and @merenludick helped me clean out my room and get some fresh air circulating.
Then I tried to instigate a mission to get Lexi to come and cuddle me.... just like the times before.... but sadly I am being punished by Her Royal Highness. If she does come into my room, it is only to glare at me from various perches. She refuses to get into the beds I make for her 😭😭😭
I know, in time, she'll eventually forgive me, but jeepers she can keep a grudge hey!
In other news, with Squeek and Lexi being too preoccupied by the strange "other cat" smell, Meow Meow has decided it's absolutely fine to just stretch out and relax on our garden furniture! I honestly did try to pet him but he hissed at me and jumped back over the wall. how rude!!😂😱😜
