Don't you just LOVE these earrings? They were a gift from my bestie and definitely tick all my boxes! I wear them everywhere! Even to gigs!
I know that winter has descended upon us by Lexi's behavior. She no longer stands in the passage, demanding the correct code of meows before entering, rather she is just there in my bed, where she can be as warm as possible.
Is it just that her winter coat has come in, making her extra floofy, or is that a little pot belly I see? Hehehehee!!! he has been putting on a ridiculous display of cuteness for @zakludick , even encouraging belly rubs! It actually brings me great joy to see her looking so healthy. When she went missing for two weeks about 3 years ago, she was just skin and bone when we found her. I possibly should have taken her to the vet to be put on a drip for a while, but with lots of small meals, we got her back to eating healthily. However, it has taken a long time for her to truly recover.
Lexi has also become ridiculously affectionate and playful! She has slept on me which means, obviously, I am not allowed to move until she wakes up and totters off herself!
The other day, she was lying next to me and demanding attention! What started as an unexpected petting session turned into a moment of kitten-like play! I have the scratches to prove it! Teehee! Look at her trying to act all innocent.
I guess us cat owners are like parent's of newborns and can't stop posting everything they do: because it's magnificently cute! Look at the shots I caught of Lexi giving herself a bath this morning!

For those of you who have been following my series and have been enjoying it, I'll be doing a recap post this evening or later this week, celebrating 60 chapters a recap, as promised in my last post! I may, however, hang on until we reach chapter 70 as we are already on a roll!
