apologies for the late reply. Had a little health setback the other night and been down...but back in the fight now.
Anyway...Cats especially seem to have a way about them. They can be very set in their ways when they want to be. I know our oldest one, Sassy, is. I am sure if we tried changing up her food she would rebel and probably start pissing all over everything in the house out of pure spite. She is an old curmudgeon. Cleo on the other hand sounds like a real sweetheart and probably takes too it just fine.
Benson sounds like a wonderful dog and friend. Luckily you didn't have to pick any Sunday flyers or missionary name tags from his teeth😀...I hope.
Yep, we have lost a few. Right after we adopted Bailey as a pup, we lost my buddy Bushido. He was the stereo typical English Bulldog. It took about a year before I warmed up to another animal, which happened to be our new pup Bailey. She stole my heart through her consistent desire to sit on my lap even though she is a big dog.
None needed, you had to do something and it was more important, I get it.
You're probably right about the reaction Sassy might have to a dramatic change in diet, that's what cats do; mess with our heads because they can. With Cleo, I just want her to be happy, feel safe and loved...sure, she could afford to eat a few less biscuits, but she's ok as is, the vet says so.
Benson was good...no name badges were picked frow his gaping maw, a few arms and legs, but no name badges. Lol.
This is what my parents should have called me. (I assume you know its meaning .)
I do. We actually adopted him in Okinawa Japan.
That's cool...Now I wish I called Cleo Bushido...But it probably wouldn't have suited...She's more of a Cleopatra...always seeking a life of leisure. Lol.
Well, in all honesty, Bushido didn't end up fitting him either. He was more of a lover, not a warrior.
Haha, Don Juan DeMarco would have been a better name then, but I bet he had some Bushido moments too.
