My partner and I have the most beautiful cats. We have six in total. This one is Bubble, and she's a sweetheart. She loves her mommas and likes to meet her forehead to yours. It's one of my favorite things when she does that.
She also has a sister named Buttercup. We never did find out if they had a missing sister named Blossom (The PowerPuff Girls) to complete the set. We adopted them from the pound two years ago, back in 2020 when Covid was a lot scarier. The pound was not taking very good care of them and they really fought hard against us adopting them but we managed anyway, and I'm so very glad.
We've actually moved with them twice since then because we've been a bit unstable in our living situation because of rent prices. I'm hoping that we've reached the end of that now that we're living in a much more affordable place than before. We used to be paying $1250/month for our rent and now we only pay $900 so it's much better.
The cats actually like our newest place the best so far. They have room to run around and be themselves. I didn't realize they were unhappy with the space we lived in before but seeing them now, they're so much happier.
Bubble and Buttercup's other sisters, who are not their litter mates, are named Cinder, April, Magic, and Luz. Cinder and April are litter mates are were the first to be adopted back in 2017. Magic and Luz are the newest additions to the family as they were adopted back in January, and they're also litter mates. I have a tendency to adopt co dependent sisters it seems. The last two are still babies, at only 6 months old. They like to run around and tear up stuff still lol.
