El pasado 17 de Enero fue la festividad donde los protagonistas eran los animales. El día de San Antón se bendicen en las iglesias a los animales echándoles agua bendita y se les lee el evangelio para así, según la religión cristiana, protegerlos de las enfermedades y que crezcan fuertes.
On the 17th of January the animals were the protagonists of the festivity. On St. Anton's Day in the churches the animals are blessed by pouring holy water on them and the gospel is read to them in order, according to the Christian religion, to protect them from diseases and to make them grow strong.
Por la pandemia el oficio se hace a las puertas de la iglesia con ayuda de un equipo amplificador para que se oiga bien en toda la plaza.

Muchos vecinos se han acercado a la plaza de la iglesia para que sus mascotas sean bendecidas por el cura. Perros, gatos, conejos, tortugas y hasta un lorito esperan su turno.

Anteriormente yo estudiaba en un colegio católico y me acuerdo que en estas fechas siempre organizaban un evento para que oos bendijeran, era muy lindo ver a todos los animales juntitos.
