Hola amigos!!! Le quiero dar las gracias a esta hermosa comunidad de #hivepets por crear este espacio dedicado a las mascotas. Quiero compartir con ustedes el día de hoy lo que nos sucedió desde hace 1 semana atrás en nuestra casa.
Mis hijas Camila y Vannesa son niñas muy juguetona y siempre están correteando por todo el patio de la casa y de repente una de ella va corriendo a la cocina de la casa y me dice: ¡Mami hay un perro viéndonos por debajo del portón!
De inmediato me dirijo al sitio y sí efectivamente tenemos un nuevo amiguito que veía curiosamente por debajo de nuestro portón moviendo rápidamente su colita, fui a buscar la llave para abrir y me di cuenta que tenía un poco de miedo a medida que me iba acercando así que no lo quise presionar y lo dejamos tranquilo.
Así pasaron dos días y decidí darle un poco de comida y agua fresca pues el calor donde vivo es muy fuerte y para estos bellos y fieles amiguitos debe ser más. Cuando terminó de comer fue impresionante su cambió corporal hacía nosotros, movía su cola, se acercó poco a poco y cuando se dejó tocar por mí ya sabia que la barrera había desaparecido pues no quería que parara de acariciarlo con su trompita buscaba mi mano.
Desde entonces ha estado fielmente en mi portón todos los días a la hora del almuerzo para comer y saludarnos, las niñas lo adoran y la acarician muchísimo y él se deja consentir un rato, lo curioso es que el se va después de un rato, pregunté a vecinos si era de alguien o dormía en un lugar fijo pero nadie me dio una respuesta. Lo que se es que nuestro nuevo amigo llegó para quedarse y que el hecho que se acuerde de nosotros y siempre venga a saludar y comer un poco solo me dice una cosa: Quiere que le den amor!
Y de eso se trata la vida de dar y recibir, para mi en particular la llegada de una mascota a nuestras vida es la oportunidad que nos regala Dios para intercambiar amor sin recibir nada a cambiar.
Negro (como le decimos cariñosamente al perro) se ganó nuestro cariño y a veces pienso que me entiende cuando le hablo sin parar, me mira fijamente con una mirada de ternura que hace que mi corazón se llene de amor por él.
El día de ayer entro a la casa, solo un poco pues no se separaba tanto del portón pero para mi ya fue un avance. Seguiremos consintiendo a este nuevo amigo tan fiel que agradece con alegría cada día que salimos a darle amor mediante un poco de alimento y agua fresca.
Si tenemos la oportunidad de brindarle una ayuda a los perros que vemos en la calle, hagámoslo y ellos de seguro lo van agradecer. Sólo quieren un poco de amor, comidita y agua. Son animales muy inteligentes y saben muy bien a quién acercarse porqué no les harán daño y su sentido de protección es algo increíble.
Antes de terminar quiero contarles una pequeña anécdota que me pasó cuando era joven, yo venía de regreso de la universidad era de noche y estaba caminando por una calle muy solitaria que era el único camino para llegar a mi casa a lo lejos veo 2 hombres parados en una esquina y de inmediato se prendieron mis alarmas, como si fuera enviado por Dios salió un perro hermoso de color canela con blanco de la nada, se me acercó me lamió la mano y camino a mi lado todo el trayecto hasta la puerta de mi casa. Los hombres que eran muy sospechosos sólo vieron como este amiguito peludo me protegía y no se acercaron, lo más curioso de todo es que al llegar a la puerta de mi casa él sencillamente se dio la vuelta y se fue… yo quedé congelada por apreciar tal acto de protección de este perro milagroso pues llegó de esa manera en ese momento. Me recuerdo decirle a Dios: ¡Gracias Dios me mandaste un angelito a cuidarme!
Sin duda alguna son animales extraordinarios.

Hello friends!!! I want to thank this beautiful #hivepets community for creating this space dedicated to pets. I want to share with you today what happened to us since 1 week ago in our house.
My daughters Camila and Vannesa are very playful girls and they are always running around the yard of the house and suddenly one of them goes running to the kitchen of the house and tells me: Mommy there is a dog watching us under the gate!
I immediately go to the site and yes indeed we have a new friend who was curiously looking under our gate wagging his tail quickly, I went to get the key to open and I realized that he was a little scared as I was approaching so I did not want to push him and we left him alone.
Two days passed and I decided to give him some food and fresh water because the heat where I live is very strong and for these beautiful and faithful friends it must be more. When he finished eating it was impressive his body changed towards us, he moved his tail, he approached little by little and when he let me touch him I knew that the barrier had disappeared because he didn't want me to stop caressing him with his little trunk he was looking for my hand.
Since then he has been faithfully at my gate every day at lunch time to eat and greet us, the girls love him and pet him a lot and he lets himself be pampered for a while, the funny thing is that he leaves after a while, I asked neighbors if he belonged to someone or slept in a fixed place but no one gave me an answer. What I know is that our new friend is here to stay and the fact that he remembers us and always comes to say hello and eat a little tells me only one thing: He wants to be loved!
And that's what life is all about, giving and receiving, for me in particular the arrival of a pet in our lives is the opportunity that God gives us to exchange love without receiving anything in return.
Negro (as we affectionately call the dog) has won our affection and sometimes I think he understands me when I talk to him non-stop, he stares at me with a look of tenderness that makes my heart fill with love for him.
Yesterday he entered the house, just a little bit because he didn't separate from the gate, but for me it was a step forward. We will continue to spoil this new faithful friend who thanks with joy every day that we go out to give him love with a little food and fresh water.
If we have the opportunity to help the dogs we see on the street, let's do it and they will surely appreciate it. They just want a little love, food and water. They are very intelligent animals and they know very well who to approach because they will not be harmed and their sense of protection is something incredible.
Before I finish I want to tell you a little anecdote that happened to me when I was young, I was coming back from college at night and I was walking down a very lonely street that was the only way to get to my house, in the distance I saw 2 men standing on a corner and immediately my alarms went off, as if sent by God a beautiful dog came out of nowhere, it approached me, licked my hand and walked beside me all the way to the door of my house. The men who were very suspicious only saw how this little furry friend protected me and did not approach me, the funniest thing of all is that when he arrived at the door of my house he simply turned around and left... I was frozen to appreciate such an act of protection from this miraculous dog because he came that way at that moment. I remember telling God: Thank you God you sent me a little angel to take care of me!
Without a doubt, they are extraordinary animals.
