My cats are an important part of my life and bring me a lot of joy and companionship. I have four cats, but the ones I am going to tell you about today are Maria and Pedro, who I adopted from a local shelter three years ago. Maria is a green-eyed tabby cat and is very affectionate and playful. She loves to curl up on my lap and play with her favorite toy, a stuffed mouse. Pedro is a gray and white cat with yellow eyes, and is quieter and more reserved than Luna. He likes to spend time alone, but he also loves to sleep on my bed and get cuddles behind his ears.
One of the things I love most about having cats is how fun and entertaining they can be. I love watching them play together and chase butterflies in the garden. I also like the independence that cats have and how they can entertain themselves when I am busy or away from home.
