Greetings, dear animal lovers, this is my first time in this community and the truth is that today I am very happy because I want to tell you that today I took a community kitten to be sterilized for a solidarity day that I was waiting for.

I will tell you the story, it turns out that about 2 months ago I saw here in my building a kitten that had given birth to 4 kittens, 3 females and 1 male, I was very sorry because the kitten is a stray and although she is around my building she has her shelter and her kittens too. Then I gave myself the task to start giving them daily cat food and water, because she was breastfeeding and I was very sad because I know it must be hard that process and have an empty stomach, the kitten is very devoted to her children, she is in front of some bushes and a roof of the apartment of a lady who also gives her food when she can, she tells me that there were 5 kittens but one had died. The kittens are very precious and playful, they are about 2 and a half months old and they are still nursing, but they already eat so I feed them daily.

These days I have given myself the task of thinking about them, and I am very sorry that they are homeless and added that there is a very large growth of cats in the urbanism and knowing that the mother can again become pregnant I made the effort to find a way to sterilize her, so I set out to find out how the process is and I got a place called Miframi solidarity which, if it was very far from my house, but luckily I have transportation so I plan to take her.

The cost of the sterilization was 20 $, today I left at 7:00 am and went looking for my sister in law who would also take her cat to the same. They started to receive the kittens at 9:00 am, but thank goodness I left early because there were many people with their pets, we were the second and before taking her the vet told me to put the cat in a cover and have her fasting and so it was, I put her in the cover and she was very restless and stressed at the beginning, I was very sorry, but I know that everything is for her good.

As I said the delivery of the kitten was today February 1st at 9 am and they called me at 12 noon to pick her up since she was ready, my husband wanted to have lunch before going and we also went looking for my sister in law who had left her cat too, we arrived and immediately they made us go in and they gave me the cat, she was very sleepy and with a wound a little bleeding which made me regret it but it is normal, The vet gave us a series of indications which we listened to and she also wrote them on a receipt, I bought first hand the medicines that I show and tomorrow I will continue, this one for the pain was a bit expensive, it cost me 12.5 dollars and the rest if it was more than that. 5 dollars and the rest was cheaper.

My niece made her a bandage so that her wound would be taken care of and everything else, that is to say to cure her and give her soft food, cleaning the wound would be for tomorrow since the vet covered that part and nothing can be given on the first day because she could have an overdose.

She is sleeping now, she was restless because as I mentioned she is a cat that lived in the street and she has some kittens and as much as she is, she is very strange maybe because of the pain and she doesn't understand anything, I put her in my room and tucked her in so she could rest. I hope she will be better tomorrow.

It was a long day, my husband and I were exhausted, but happy because it is the best thing for her, her puppies when they are at least 4 months old I will take them one by one, because it is something I also have to save and then put them up for adoption.
