Certainly the difference is made by the person, not whether they live in an apartment or a house. I know people who have private homes and have their dogs chained up in the yard and others who have apartments and have their dogs barbecued on site while they go to work all day, without paying the slightest attention to them.
So I like to think that a responsible and proper owner will take very good care of their puppy whether in a private home or apartment...it's always great to adopt because you get a puppy out of that nightmare, as you rightly put it.....
I hope my dogs are happy. Maybe I can't give them as much time as they deserve, because there are sixteen of them and I'm alone, but I do my best. Now, during the war, many animals have lost their homes. I try to give them comfort and safety.
