She thinks I'm a cat I think, and I don't mind. She has her little habits, favourite places and she talks to me a lot.
Cat's make almost 100 different sounds in their life, to humans, other cats and animals, their mothers and so on. They all have meaning, as does their body language. This is why I say Cleo talks to me because she does. She knows when I'm upset or angry and acts accordingly. Merlin was the same. He was an amazing cat really, intuitive, cuddly and gentle when needed and brutal too. (Watching him stalk and take a bird was something to behold - This, when he was a partial outdoor cat.) I miss him a lot, he was like the cat version of me and we got along well.
I can sense the strong feeling you have for her and it is lovable. It is the kind of understanding that makes two couples jealous and hopes one of them could be a cat. Hehe.
It is interesting to know they make those sounds. I am glad you added that has it improved my knowledge of them.
I can tell you do miss Merlin. I am sure he feels the same too.
