Puppies seem to have inexhaustible energy. They run around, run up, run down, run around in circles chasing their tails...they go, they come. Don't they get tired? Buddy is not a different puppy, he is also electric. He is precisely at that 100% battery stage. But, he has an Achilles heel. Being so woolly, the poor thing suffers from heat, and if the sun is intense, he gives up. Let's be clear that this is spring, I don't want to imagine what it will be like in summer.
A few days ago I joined one of his long crusades because these are not normal walks, they are marathons...oh God, those people really like to walk. I mean my brother because Buddy does it as a consequence hahaha. We walked a long stretch through most of Casa de Campo. We climbed hills, crossed intricate stretches, passed through rocky paths, others sandier, and at times we took advantage of the green grass. In short, it was an all-terrain ride.
During the whole ride, Buddy was like Heidy in the field, free as the wind. Everything was fine until we left the wooded area and the trees stopped giving us shade. Then we were exposed to the inclement sun. From that moment on, I saw what I never thought I would see, and I don't mean seeing an elephant fly, but seeing Buddy exhausted, lying long and wide every time he saw a bit of shade, trying to cool off. Thus, and only thus, was it possible to photograph him.
His little face speaks for itself. He was tired. That day the polarity of his battery bank was reversed, far from being recharged by the sun, it was inevitably depleted. Now, don't believe how quiet it was, behind that little face of "I didn't do it", Buddy the naughty was still active. There where you see him, he was taking advantage of eating all the little flowers he could find on the ground.

Los cachorros parecen tener una energía inagotable. Corren de un lado al otro, suben, bajan, dan vueltas en círculos persiguiendo su cola…van, vienen. ¿Acaso no se cansan? Buddy no es un cachorro diferente, él también es eléctrico. Está precisamente en esa etapa de baterías al 100%. Pero, tiene un talón de Aquiles. Al ser tan lanudo el pobrecito sufre de calor, y si el sol está intenso, se da por vencido. Valga aclarar que estamos en primavera, no quiero imaginar cómo será en verano.
Hace unos días me uní a unas de sus largas cruzadas, porque no son caminatas normales, son maratones…¡ay Dios! a esa gente si que le gusta caminar. Me refiero a mi hermano, pues Buddy lo hace por añadidura jajaja. Recorrimos un largo tramo atravesando gran parte de Casa de Campo. Subimos colinas, cruzamos trechos intrincados, pasamos por caminos de piedras, otros más de arena, por momentos aprovechamos la verde hierba. En fin, fue un paseo a todo terreno.
Durante todo el recorrido, Buddy iba cual Heidy en el campo, a sus anchas, libre como el viento. Todo bien hasta que salimos de la zona boscosa y los árboles dejaron de darnos sombra. Entonces quedamos expuestos a la inclemencia del sol. A partir de ese momento vi lo que no creía ver, y no me refiero a ver a un elefante volar, sino a ver a Buddy agotado, echado de largo a largo cada vez que veía un poco de sombra, procurando refrescarse. Así y solo así, fue posible fotografiarlo.
Su carita habla por sí sola. Estaba cansadito. Ese día la polaridad de su banco de baterías como que estaba invertida, lejos de recargarse con el sol, se agotó inevitablemente. Ahora, no crean tanta tranquilidad, detrás de esa carita de yo no fui, seguía activo Buddy el travieso. Allí donde lo ven, estaba aprovechando de comerse todas las florecitas que encontraba en el suelo.

Yes, he is a very restless and playful puppy. He loves to eat those little flowers, at first we tried to prevent him from doing it, but it has been almost impossible, he likes flowers, hahaha.
El sol es terrible para ellos, los cansa de una manera inexplicable, así es Kira y ni hablar de Lobo, por eso trato de sacarlos cuando no hay sol 😎
Ayer salí con ellos nuevamente a caminar por un parque nuevo y estuvo fascinando porque el lugar está repleto de árboles frondosos que dan mucha sombra. Pero apenas cruzábamos algún tramo soleado ya tenía la lengua afuera, definitivamente no soporta el sol.

Que lindo Buddy. De cachorros están al 100% en baterías, juegos sin parar, eso es verdad. Leer tu post me hizo recordar a mi perrita Muñeca, ella tiene como 5 años y sigue siendo eléctrica, pero me encanta verla así tan alegre. Eso quiere decir que a Buddy le queda mucha batería. Hace años tuve un perro que le gustaba el agua fría, cuando yo abría la nevera el se metía como diciendo dame agua, yo le daba y el se la tomaba toda encantado. También sufría de calor, se ponía frente al ventilador a tomar aire, se veía muy gracioso. Saludos.
Bueno yo tuve un labrador retriever que llegó a adulto y se comportaba como un cachorro con esas baterías a full carga jajaja así que puedo imaginar que a Buddy le queda mucha energía por quemar, tu perrita es buen ejemplo de eso xD

Que hermoso es buddy! Aprovecha su etapa de inquietud. Mi perrito ya está viejito, se llama sparky y tiene 10 años, él es muy muy cariñoso, al menos eso no se ha perdido con el tiempo pero ya no salta tan alto. A mí me gustan los perros de verdad que bonito está buddy, felicidades!

Yo estoy disfrutando mucho esta etapa con Buddy, es mi sobrino perruno, amo compartir tiempo con él. Apenas está por cumplir 4 meses, es un cachorrito.
