Neko!! A guardian kitten / Neko!! Una gatita guardiana

Friends today I will tell you about my baby who is a kitten named Neko, she is black with green eyes.

She came into my life one night, I was outside with my sister and grandmother, that day there was a power outage and we were waiting for the electrical system to be restored in the garage of the house. At that moment I saw a black shadow entering through one of the spaces of the garage door of my house, I approached to better visualize what it was and it turned out to be a small kitten, alone and crying. I remember that I took her and it was love at first sight when I saw her big green eyes, it was like seeing a child when he wants something and looks with those eyes to his parents to buy it for him, I felt at that moment that I had to protect her.

I took her and gave her a big cup of milk and at that moment I knew I had to take her in, she is currently 3 years old with me, I named her Neko because it means cat in Japanese and I love how it sounds; and she liked it because she instantly got used to that name and she is obedient when I call her.

She has become my companion and confidant, it is comforting to come home after a long day at college and have her sit on my lap and just pet her; it is relaxing.

She is very mischievous, when she is not running all over the house, she rides on the fence or on the stairs, sometimes she goes to play with my younger sister's cat who lives in the back called Sacha. She rides on the neighbor's trees, sometimes I go to look for her, she is a very active kitty. Jeje

I am the kind of owner who gives freedom to her pets, in the case of my kitty, I let her go out and have fun, and of course, I am very attentive to her return.

Well, my kitty always sleeps indoors, but sometimes at night I can't find her and she hides under my brother-in-law's car and there is no way to get her out of there. With less options, I let her sleep outside and I have discovered that she sleeps on top of the roof of my brother-in-law's car, that is, she loves to sleep there. It's funny because she scares away the neighbors' cats at night and stays like a guardian on top of the roof of the car; I think it's to mark territory. Jeje

Currently, I try not to let her sleep outside, but it is difficult, she loves to sleep on top of the car. I do it because I found out and confirmed with the vet that she is pregnant. I am going to be a grandmother!
I try not to let her sleep outside and take care of her more, so she will have a happy cat pregnancy.

¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive!

Amigos hoy les hablaré de mi bebé que es una gatita llamada Neko, es de color negro y ojos verdes.

Ella llegó a mi vida una noche, que estaba afuera con mi hermana y abuela , ese día hubo un corte eléctrico y pues estábamos esperando que restablecieran el sistema eléctrico en el garaje de la casa. En ese momento veo una sombra negra que entra por uno de los espacios del portón del garaje de mi casa, me acerqué para visualizar mejor que era y resulto ser una gatita pequeña, sola y llorando. Recuerdo que la tomé y fue amor a primera vista cuando vi sus grandes ojitos verdes, fue como ver a un niño cuando quiere algo y mira con esos ojitos a sus padres para que se lo compren, yo en ese momento sentí que debía protegerla.

La tome y le di una gran taza de leche y en ese momento supe que tenía que acogerla, actualmente tiene 3 años conmigo, le puse el nombre de Neko porque significa gato en japonés y me encanta como suena; y pues a ella le gusto porque al instante se acostumbró a ese nombre y es obediente al llamarla.

Ella se ha convertido en mi compañera y confidente, es reconfortante llegar a casa luego de un largo día en la universidad y que ella se sienta en mis piernas y el simple hecho de acariciarla; es relajante.

Es muy traviesa, cuando no está corriendo por toda la casa, anda montada en la cerca o en la escalera, a veces va a jugar con la gata de mi hermana menor que vive atrás llamada Sacha. Se monta en los árboles de los vecinos, a veces la voy a buscar, es una gatita muy activa. Jeje

Soy el tipo de dueña que le da libertad a sus mascotas, en el caso de mi gatita, yo la dejo que salga y se divierte, y pues claro, estoy muy al pendiente de que vuelva.

Bueno, mi gatita duerme siempre adentro de casa, pero a veces en la noche no la encuentro y es que se esconde abajo del carro de mi cuñado y no hay forma de sacarla de ahí. Con menos opciones, la dejo dormir afuera y he descubierto que duerme arriba del techo del auto de mi cuñado, ósea, ella ama dormir allí. Es curioso porque espanta a los gatos de los vecinos en la noche y se queda como una guardiana arriba del techo del carro; creo que es para marcar territorio. Jeje

Actualmente, trato de que no duerma afuera, pero es difícil, ella ama dormir arriba del carro. Lo hago porque descubrí y lo confirmé con el veterinario que está embarazada. Voy a hacer abuela!
Trato que ella no duerma afuera y cuidarla más, para que tenga un embarazo gatuno feliz.
