I have this mini series that I just started in Thailand where I take pictures of cats in different cities. The one inThailand is of course called "Sawadee cats" because I noticed the cats were taken care of even strays. The cats that I will be taking pics of are some random cats I see on the streets or places I visit to, doesn't matter if they're strays or not. :D
This time, the location is in Makati, Philippines.
The first one was from a park in Makati. He was just sleeping under the rainbow tree while the maintenance guy was watering the plants beside him.
He looked and I greeted him. He then came to me lol.
He's a bit chonky lol and he's been fed well. He was sweet and all like "pet me" or maybe asking for treats but we didn't have one.
It seems he lives in this park and works as a Cuddles Executive Officer.
This was also in the park and we came across a family giving food and treats to this little kitty. They also have a toddler with them and all of a sudden the mom yells "Don't eat that!!!!" in panic. I assumed it was cat food the toddler was putting in his mouth. XD
While looking at the pond, something moved in the corner of my eyes. It was this cat drinking water lol. Did you find him?

This was in Greenbelt somewhere near Ayala museum. It seems they hang out here too.
This area has expensive restaurants but most passersby give them cat food anyways. :) XD
They don't bug the customers tho. They just wait til you give them attention. :D
Her ear has been tipped which means she's spayed. :3 Hooray for less unwanted litters. :D
I'm happy that these cats are being looked after and also being spayed/neutered as well. Having unwanted litters are bad for the mom cats and also for everyone in general. Kitties not having food and have to be in survival mode in the streets, not having a home, sometimes even get hurt by people... Spaying and neutering them is a solution to these problems as cats can multiply REALLY fast. I'm glad this area in Makati is doing this. :D

It's nice that they're somehow well taken care of and looks pretty clean despite being stray cat. I notice that in BKK they mostly roam around during the night and in some areas, I see lesser cats. Maybe I should go out more and find more cats here 😄
They said that when a cat has access to clean water, they are clean cos they are dehydrated enough to groom themselves. :D I guess that’s why :D Yeah I noticed that too. In parks or temples there’s always cats 🤣 Would love to see another Sawadee cats series by other people hahaha

Kidding aside, I'm today years old when I found out that tipping the cat's ear means she's spayed. Nag-double check pa ako sa google hahaha.
People are so nice for giving these strays cat food and water. Meow! 😺
Hahah yeah that also happened when we spayed our cats, when we came home we were wondering why they cut the tip of their ears. It was only then I found out why :D
Oh wow! There are really a lot of stray cats in my country the Philippines. Since a lot of cat owners really don't neuter their cats so they keep on having kitties that's why some are just thrown away they are lucky if they are taken by cat lovers if not we'll they just end up begging for food just like the ones you've seen.
Strays are pretty much everywhere due to lack of responsible owners and lack of government programs for them. It’s sad. I think people are slowly getting educated tho as there’s group of shelters in social media telling people to spay/neuter and also to let them be aware what happens if they don’t. There are free and low cost spaying/neutering as well which is nice but it only happens a few times a year.
Cats reproduce really, really fast. Their sterilization should be done in every country. There are many cats on the streets in Turkey, and I hope that interventions are made immediately. I admire these cute little animals.
I read once in an article that Turkey actually spay/neuter cats and dogs and also just let go of them after. So even tho most of them are strays, the problem would not get bad cos they are already fixed + vaccinated.
Yup, Turkey is improving in that way which is really good. I'm happy about it.
They are soo cuteee, here at BGC taguig near People's Garden there are also different types of stray cat, everytime I jog there, I always saw them sitting at the bench and sometimes they are playing with people, gladly a lot of joggers give them cat foods.
Tomorrow I'll jog there and I'm gonna share it here.

Firstly, I must commend that your camera quality is top notch and the pictures are superb💯. You took your time to visit those stray cats but to be honest with you they look great, neat, plumpy and well fed.

The first cat, I thought he has a mustache and it suit him really well. The black pattern coincidentally in his cupid's bow. Lol! I laughed when you said that he works as Cuddles Executive Officer, that's so funny. It's good to know that there are people feeding them in the street because as you said, it's really bad for them to drink unwanted litter since it's contaminated. !PIZZA
Hahah he can also be a Cuteness Executive Officer. 🤣 Oh with unwanted litters I meant unwanted kittens😅 but yeah hopefully they drink somewhere safer than in dirty canals or something 😓
